Baseball

I'm right there with you Mikey. I'm pretty tired too. Yes. Our boys Wil, Evan and Jacoby all had good games. Of course then I still had to watch the latest update with Zeno Kostas and Tate. haha

It was against the Rays that Yankees had another terrible round of pitching by a closer. At one game recently one of the Yankee's closing pitchers hit one of our batters at home plate. It was all unintentional of course. He just reached a point where he was losing focus and had no control of the ball. Then he hit another batter. Same inning. No movement to replace him. Finally he hit a third Rays batter in the same inning. Without even waiting to see if the manager would make a trip to the mound to replace him, the home plate umpire pointed his finger at him and ejected the pitcher from the game on his own authority. I had never seen anything like it.

The veteran announcers were also shocked. They agreed with the umpire's call totally. It became a safety issue. You can't risk waiting until a player gets injured with a concussion or a season ending injury to the elbows or knees. But they all agreed that the ejection of a pitcher was extremely rare in the sport. The word the following day was that they had already sent him back to the minors and he was no longer with the club.
That game took place while I was in Florida visiting my friends in Vero Beach, so I missed the debacle. The lefty's name was Cesar Cabral. He cleared wavers and the Yankees resigned him to a minor league contract.

The big boys are talking about the game itself. What's with your junior high school behavior, young man??? :sneaky2:

Oh... Quit pretending you don't like the abuse Mikey. haha

Me thinks he doth protest too much. :001_tongue:  xo

Junior High behavior you say??? I don't have posters of Justin Bieber on my walls, do you?? Get a room hum Tampa? He couldn't handle this power bottom, I'd break that Old Man in half!!! lol

Yankees win today

And so Tampa, the Yankees won today 9-3, as our Japanese import pitcher Masahiro Tanaka won again and is 4-0. And our Jacoby Ellsbury had 3 more hits, and your pretty boy Wil Myers hit a homerun too. I think Peter is crazy for not recognizing that young Wil is a total hottie, even if he plays for the wrong team. :001_tongue:

More Wil:

And don't they say where there's a will there's a way?

But could any of us have our way with Wil? That is the question. haha

Well, being that Peter is not interested in him, it just leaves you and I to fight over him, but I think he is a total hottie, (even if he plays for the enemy).

Congrats to Tampa, as the Rays won on Sunday, winning the series taking two out of three, and the difference maker in the game was the Tampa Bay "pretty boy" Wil Myers who hit an inside the park grand slam homerun.

Now the Yanks head west to Anaheim to play the Angels and their young up and coming superstar, born in New Jersey, Mike Trout.

He's such a nice guy that he might even work out a time-share agreement with us. I agree that with his looks and his talent on the field, that he's a total hottie. haha

Yes. Our boy Will showed some skills yesterday. Fortunately or not for the Yankees yesterday, Wil scored a 3 run homerun on an in-field hit. Not quite a grand slam. Though if the bases had been loaded it would've been a grand slam. lol He did have 4 RBI's for the game however. haha

I did get interrupted during my viewing of the game a few times. Or maybe some things were happening off camera during commercial breaks. Because in a post game interview yesterday Ted Kalas was teasing Wil about how many friends he had been making among Yankee fans in the outfield. Did anyone else see some of what they were referring to? Apparently he attempts some conversation with them and they warm up to him. Even if he does play for the enemy. haha I have no doubt that the female Yankee fans in particular warm up to him quickly. lol

At about 1:47 in the interview he is asked about making friends among the Yankees' fans.

I stand corrected, as it was an inside the park "three run" homer. I watched the video, and he does seem like a sweet kid, besides being hot, and as he said he is friendly with the "bleacher creatures". Perhaps the next time Tampa comes to the Stadium, I should try to score some bleacher tickets, although I know I will not score with Wil, but he's sure pretty to look at. :smiley-love021:

Now Mike Trout is a hottie!! And he's only a hop, skip and jump from my house lol I will use my Native connections to hook-up with Jacoby though, now he's my new crush. Our very own JJ has that pretty brown skin look also mmmmm.

I am so pleased that I've FINALLY come up with a couple of ball players who meet the standards of the GREAT Peterh6308 of the Pacific Northwest!!!

And Trout is obviously just a hop, skip, and jump away from you. Isn't Anaheim just a tad south of Seattle?????? (just kidding to any folks reading this.)

My Mariners bitch slapped Tampa's Rays today. Go home Wil your not wanted here!!! lol

LOL Peter. Yeah. My Rays are really struggling right now unfortunately. C'mon now though. Wil is wanted. Just not the whole team. You know that if he showed up at your door looking to play ball, you would have a very hard time turning him away. You'd be having a hard time anyway, but that's a different story. haha

Why do you guys have to start your games so late out there? They start at 10:10 pm and don't end until after 1:00 am. Doesn't anybody out there have to be somewhere to be in the morning? :001_tt2:
