Extra Extra, read all about it. My Seattle Mariners sweep the NY Yankees in Yankee Stadium woohoo This is me:thumbup: and this is Mikeyank:crying2:

And now Tampa, your Rays, lead by your boyfriend Evan come into Yankee Stadium for the weekend. I sure hope the Yanks win this series. :001_unsure:

My Rays have been struggling lately. :/ But I also know they are not intimidated or afraid of the Yankees. lol So this series could go either way.

When my boyfriend Evan is busty trying to keep up appearances by dating his supermodel girlfriend, he grudgingly allowed Wil Myers to date me on the side.

While the Rays are a division rival of the Yankees, and it is to my advantage to see them lose, I do admit that Wil Myers is a total hottie, and very much my kind of guy!!! :001_tt2:

While watching the Yankees-Ray's series this weekend Tampa, keep an eye on former Red Sox, current Yankee Jacoby Ellsbury who by the way is part American Indian, much like our own Peterh.

"His mother, Margie, was an early-intervention specialist on the Warm Springs Reservation near Madras. Margie, a full-blooded Navajo, descended from a famous 19th century tribal leader, Granado Mucho. She was raised on the Colorado River Reservation on the Arizona-California border—home to the Mohave, Chemehuevi, Hopi, and Navajo tribes—and was educated at a Mormon school in Utah."

Wow. He does look stunning. I like the American Indian look too. :)
yep he is a beauty! I have lots of cousins who live on the warm springs nation. Middle of Oregon is a beautiful place, I spent lots of summers fishing, hunting, trapping and the god aweful chopping wood for the winter on "the Rez".

OMG! What a battle tonight! The game went 6 hours, into the 14th inning. My Rays pulled it out to score 5 runs in the top of the 14th.

10-5 Rays. Woohooo!! haha Sorry Mikey. There's always tomorrow. :)

Thanks Tampa. That was a tough game to lose, as I kept falling asleep and waking up, finally listening on the radio as the Yankees run out of pitchers and some kid just up from the minor leagues gave up 5 runs in the 14th inning.

The two cuties that Tampa and I featured had good games. Wil Myers had three hits, and drove in two runs, and my Jacoby Ellsbury had four hits and drove in one run, but Derek Jeter went 0-7 for the first time in his career. Game two of the series is at 1 PM, so two tired teams and this tired fan will be back at it in a few hours.

I'm right there with you Mikey. I'm pretty tired too. Yes. Our boys Wil, Evan and Jacoby all had good games. Of course then I still had to watch the latest update with Zeno Kostas and Tate. haha

It was against the Rays that Yankees had another terrible round of pitching by a closer. At one game recently one of the Yankee's closing pitchers hit one of our batters at home plate. It was all unintentional of course. He just reached a point where he was losing focus and had no control of the ball. Then he hit another batter. Same inning. No movement to replace him. Finally he hit a third Rays batter in the same inning. Without even waiting to see if the manager would make a trip to the mound to replace him, the home plate umpire pointed his finger at him and ejected the pitcher from the game on his own authority. I had never seen anything like it.

The veteran announcers were also shocked. They agreed with the umpire's call totally. It became a safety issue. You can't risk waiting until a player gets injured with a concussion or a season ending injury to the elbows or knees. But they all agreed that the ejection of a pitcher was extremely rare in the sport. The word the following day was that they had already sent him back to the minors and he was no longer with the club.
