I for one would not be pleased with a switch to bare back. I have lost too many friends to AIDS to ever want to see anyone take an unnecessary risk in a sex act. I do wonder about this in porn. I know you can get a vaccine to prevent hepatitis, I've wondered if the actors get tested for it and vaccinated before performing since hepatitis is like a 110 or a 1000 times more catchy than HIV.

Are these models told the risks of STDs when it comes to porn or they expected to know about this as an adult? In my experience I've found that a lot of adults are pretty ignorant when it comes to STDs.

I agree with you on all of the above BenBen. Just too risky. Young people in this age group tend to think they are invincible. I lived through friends dying in the 80s too from AIDS related conditions. I know it is manageble now but the treatments are expensive. How many of these BSBs have medical insurance. Well, maybe if they are on their parents insurance which now goes to age 26 but... Who wants to have to "live with it". There has been a recent 22% rise in HIV infection in the younger gay male population according to the gay press. Worrysome to say the least. I hope all of you out there protect yourselves and would want the models protected as well.

I had a friend who was a public health nurse on the front lines of HIV when it first manifested.
