After I finished work at 6pm this evening, I went for a beer to what I thought was a gay friendly pub. Unfortunately, the gay guys that were running it had themselves done a runner and have been replaced with a straight couple. So I bought a beer and a bowl of chips and sat down and watched the pub TV. They had the sports channel on and to my surprise there was American Baseball on it. Well I havn't got a clue how the game is played or how scores are made, how people get out - the only thing I know is how they score a home run.
I watched the game for about 30 mins whilst I finished off my chips and a beer and tbh, still didnt have a clue wtf was going on. This is the game that was on the TV

Rookie Kyle Hendricks fired seven stellar frames, while Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez launched homers to help the Cubs split the four-game set at Citi Field. Carlos Torres logged five shutout innings in a spot start, while Lucas Duda belted his 22nd homer for the Mets.
