As of now the rating is 4.55 with 184 people rating it. I always say the forums DO NOT represent the membership. I gave a 5 and I think its accurate.
As for Johnny I think all the pressure on him has caused the problems. He should have not even looked here for what the few of the total membership think. In the beginning he loved what he did now its a job and he's doing his best but not enjoying what he does. If he's leaving here good luck to him. It's OUR loss.

You are so right Joey that the forum does not necessarily reflect the views of over-all membership, and also keep in mind that the "voting" does not either. I have heard from many members both on the forum and in private who told me that they were members here for a long time before they even realized that there was a voting mechanism here.

It is very subjective, particularly in porn to say who is "working" hard, or who is "mailing it in". Some people want even the straightest of models to bottom or suck dick or to make out with a guy enthusiastically, while others enjoy the straight guy to be laid back, letting the gay or bi guys to "do him", and some of us think that is a great performance. This is not a factory, where all of the workers on the assembly line are judged the same way by their production per hour or whatever. I may rate a scene a five if a hot guy, (to me) is doing a one way fuck scene or laying back doing nothing but receiving pleasure, allowing a guy to blow him. It is all individual taste and there is no one standard for what constitutes a "good performance". It is all based on our own fantasies and what turns us on.

Again, I am not a fan of Johnny as his body type does not turn me on, but I respect him based on all of the adulation he has received, and his leaving Broke Straight Boys will be a loss to his many, many fans.

Mikeyank, I do have to agree with you about this being "subjective". As I see it, I really enjoy what I see as a good performance! Whether a top/bottom, straight, (pansexual) performance is what I pay to see! The more I enjoy the performance, the higher I'll grade the scene. Sometimes it's not about a specific model, just a good performance! Even when I look back on scenes from the past, I know what I like when I see it, often times not really looking for anything in particular! Some scenes, a model may really deliver what I like and then in another scene..not so much! What I do enjoy is; when a model makes a commitment to deliver a great performance. I think with all of the reviews that a model may read, they should focus less on satisfying more specific "tastes" of their fans! If they can do something that might be more comfortable for them, capitalize on that, it will give way to a better performance in the end. I think that seems to be what members (at least on the forum) respond to more favorably. Working with like minded models or someone who is at least committed to doing their very best, is a great help too!

With age I have also found many more guys attractive who I would not have earlier in life. For instance I had a real hangup most of my life about not finding guys with red hair sexually attractive. After falling for Connor and Spencer though I began to see all redheads in a somewhat different light.

Back on topic though I did give this scene a 5. Overall with the combination of all 3 models, the scene worked.

Which, if you look at the history of Broke Straight Boys, there have been models who've only performed certain acts while seemingly given a "pass" not to perform other acts! Johnny's statement, In his own words:

You make some very good points Betu. Johnny has done just about everything ever asked of him here. From kissing to bottoming. Even if he's, "Still not diggin' it." lol As you say, he never promised us that he would always be good at it...or that he would ever grow to like it. His work on the whole is still an asset to the company, as his scenes will be enjoyed by many for years to come. He was one of the first models of Broke Straight Boys-2 who I could label as "beefcake".

I know of these sites you speak of lol If you were referring to me critiquing his work I never did. If you read my post I said "although I was never a Johnny fan just not my body type, he was one of the best looking models to come to Broke Straight Boys". Well folks, they just let me out of "Broke Straight Boys Covet Prison", and the handcuffs were actually fun.

I did take Peter and Silvercamel's advice to check out Shane and Alec again, and that scene never fails to entertain. As I said to start this silliness, that Shane is just about the perfect man for me, body wise and demeanor too.

And I agree with Silver that David was at the top of his game. I do miss David and his lighthearted but very effective approach at getting the best out of his models, while keeping everyone entertained with his antics too.
