A struggle to recrut models

I am aware that finding new models is a challenge on its own, and then you have the selection process. I have just done a quick count up of recruited models over the last couple of years.

2012 45 models (approx.)
2013 33 models (approx.)
2014 21 models to date

Several of these models have only just done 2 shoots and then disappeared (maybe for personal reasons or not meeting Broke Straight Boys ratings by either membership or management)

Models come into porn seeking the one goal in which to make money, and then retreat back into their personal lives, or move to possible new porn sites (seeking bigger financial rewards). I am not aware of the strategic implementation of model practices with Broke Straight Boys growth plan, but it has given me concern for the continual usage of seeing the same models performing.

Some of our seasonal/veteran models continue to be professional and deliver with some conviction, and others have obviously lost that drive and come robotically ( and cant leave their attitude outside the door) to earn money, the latter practice attitude is so transparent with some models.(these models need to be released). So that the model willing to work and seek to stepping up there skills can thrive.

A model of practice could be built around past and present models (JM, PC, ID) just a suggestion

Those are interesting numbers Inspire. Thank you. The number of 21 for this year would in itself explain a lot in terms of some of the discontent expressed her in the forum. We are accustomed to seeing more new models brought on board per year. And then out of this year's much smaller pool of new models, many of them have not "inspired" us for one reason or another. Out of that 21, I'd say that I've only really taken to about 10 or less of the new models this year.

Out of the 21 to date for 2014, the three guy's who are most definitely "my kind" of guys in chronological order are Tyler, Dimitri, (who is unfortunately not going to be coming back) and Ronan Kennedy. I am also reserving judgement on two of the newer one's Zak and Abram. So even including the last two makes it 5 for 21, which in baseball terms is like batting .238 which is not an All-Star season at all.

But as old Brooklyn Dodger fans used to say back in the 50's, "Wait till next year"!

I would have to say besides the models the moderators will need to comment more, so the membership feel they are being heard! communication is the key to success

Membership wants to know what they are getting for their buck, and in turn management need to know what we are looking for.

1. The boy next door look 2. cock size 3 anal performers 4 sensual performers 5 versatile performers 6 the manly look 7 guy with attitude 8 muscle men 9 hairy club... etc

these are only a small list of what the membership are looking for, as to be fair to management one model can be seen with different attributes to another viewer.

example JM is my overall favorite (Ambi plugging him again) what is it that gives me excitement. he is an exciting performer, always putting his viewer first. up skilling and trying new things, I personally like his look, his cheeky smile, his cheeky stories, even his attitude that shows, I am Good! he is a communicator, a peoples personal and I haven't even touched on his physicality. I don't need to because that is offered by other models. And the one attribute with Jason that stands out a mile is his smugly humbleness. (yes I am a personality and sensual driven person). But I am sure another viewer who favors JM will have another take on JM.

I actually met Jason at NYC Pride 2012, (and put my arms around his slightly moist from the sun smooth silky body - quoting Stimpy,), but he is a total charmer and as I said in my famous BTS appearance, "You're both even handsomer in person than in your scenes", (referring to Blake who also charmed me on that magical day for mikeyank!).

I too miss the former Dmitri (now Anya) who was one of the best models this site ever recruited. I only hope that Anya knows that she is SO LOVED by everyone here, and we are eager for updates, and eager to know that she is doing well. (Love you, Anya!)

I think that Broke Straight Boys's losing Jake was a definite fumble, because - while his situation has been debated endlessly on these pages - I personally believe that if he had been given an opportunity to explain his situation and his former employment to the members, he would have been welcomed back by the members, with open arms. (Of course, management has to do what they have to do, and we can never know the whole story - maybe Jake was shooting heroin on the set, or striking staff members with his fist, or something, I dunno.)

And I am increasingly wondering what the hell happened with Jason Matthews. We were told that he had decided to retire from gay video, but then - people have turned up videos of him appearing elsewhere. . . . So it makes me wonder - HOW and WHY did the management let him go?

Jason is a real sweetheart - I find it REALLY hard to believe that he ever could have caused any TROUBLE on the set; he is a SUPER performer, and one of the top-favourited models in Broke Straight Boys history (as a performer, he is rated at a 4.95 out of 5, and all but a couple of his videos are rated at 4 or above) and he was cuter and hotter when he left than when he started - so - - - WTF?????

Did these recent appearances have a date of production? Perhaps they are old ones.

You made a typo - he is rated 4.59/5 - still the 7th best.

I don't blame you Shy. It is only because I got a good deal with an annual subscription that I'm still here. The number of films I've watched so far this year, is few and the number I've actually downloaded is less that 5.
