This postal worker has been disciplined and is facing Federal charges. To think, there are people who are desperately in need of a job and then someone like this can not appreciate what she has.

There are a lot of bad people working at the post office and these things happen a lot more often than you can imagine. My mail carrier is a total bitch, I'm pretty sure I get all my mail but whenever I get a package she throws it at my door, she never sets it down, she just throws it and never knocks to let me know there's a package. I always give my mail carrier a gift card at christmas and when I see them I tell them i appreciate their hard work but the bitch I have now can never be made happy.

When I first moved into my current house I had a run in with my carrier. My mailbox is in front of my house 5 feet from the street between my house and the neighbors. If the neighbor parks both his cars straight instead of parallel then it doesn't leave much room for me to have a guest park in front of my house without blocking the boxes. My carrier started leaving notes on my guests cars telling them they must park blah blah. One day I saw him a few houses away and my neighbor parked straight, so I watched him and what he did was pull go around the 2 cars pull up in front of my house then backed-up to the boxes. I walked out and said "if I had a car parked here you would have left a note right". he said yes, I said why don't you ask the neighbor to park parallel and this wouldn't be a problem. He said "he's lived here longer and you'll have to adjust". So I calmly told him to shove it up his ass, and went in and called the postal station with his truck #. A week later I had a new carrier willing to step out of his of his truck 5 feet to the boxes to not inconvenience the "customer". I have given him starbuck gift cards for the last 3 christmas's.

I live in the country. Our post office is a little yellow brick building. A lady has been the postmaster there for years. The letter carrier for this post office is the post master's daughter. This kind of stuff would never happen here. Everyone knows everyone. Their service is excellent. Monday, I went there and dropped a birthday card for my daughter around 2:30 pm. My daughter lives 55 miles away in a different city and got the card on Tuesday, the next day. This is why I love living in a rural area. The nearest Walmart is over 15 miles away. Shopping malls, forget that. The closest one to me is about a 2 hours drive. If there is something I really need like a new pair of Converse sneakers (like I need more, already have six pairs in different colors), I order them online and have them delivered.

As I originally wrote. There are people out there in desperate need for jobs. Yet, there are some who don't appreciate what they have and abuse their positions.

Damn, I feel bad for all of ya'll but, I have a post office box and my post office is literally across the street and 100 yards behind the Church and my buddy's aunts' house. My newest (1 1/2 years now) post office guy could pass for Brandon Beal's brother! I don't always get a lot of mail, but when I do....I prefer... to go inside and see Mr. B

I complained once and the next package I got after looked like it had been run over by a truck and almost every item inside the box was broken. The mail carrier actually laughed when she handed it over to me and said she didn't know what happened to it. I have a male carrier on Saturdays and he will not leave any packages at my door because he says there are too many complaints that the packages get stolen. He never knocks on me door to see if I'm home, he just leaves a note in my box telling me to pick it up at the main post office. I can't pick it up that day because he's driving around with my package in his truck and the post office closes at noon so I have to wait until Monday. I have lived here for 8 years and never had a package stolen. I live in a small apt building and we have kind of small boxes, if I don't empty mine everyday the next day my new mail gets smashed down over my previous days mail. I really hate my mail carriers.

I miss living in a small town because those post offices always seem to have nice friendly people working in them. The people at our post office could give the DMV a run for their money.
