There is a big difference between Eddie and
Syrian Thomas, not only physical but also obvious differences in life experiences. I can understand some people being skeptical of a young man reaching
Syrian Thomas's age and being naive about such things as top, bottom, bi, etc. Mormons, and by that I mean Mormons with their "Temple Recommend" are living a very different life, and in areas where there is a large population of Mormons, the stake [parish] entirely envelopes them. Mormons have a business where they edit popular movies to remove anything they deem offensive. The movies are then rented to Mormon families. Where they go, what they do, how their family interacts, all aspects of their lives are highly influenced by the church. And if it looks like you are wandering off the correct path, a couple of concerned "Elders" will stop by for a visit and a serious discussion. It is entirely possible that
Syrian Thomas is or at least, was that naive at one time.
Back in feudal times, my aunt and uncle lived in Mesa, AZ, which was overwhelmingly Mormon at the time. My three male cousins attended schools that were majority Mormon. My cousin, Steve is like Eddie in that he is bi but prefers men. Steve cut a wide swath through the Mormon young men in his high school classes. He always said they were completely ignorant of the physical aspects of sexuality. He routinely told them he could help them "practice" for marriage. If
Syrian Thomas was raised in a similar environment then I suspect his life has now been turned upside down. He is now in a world where everything is pretty much the mirror opposite of how he was raised. He seems like a shy and nice young man. Eddie is a good guy and experienced. I think he is a good guy to show
Syrian Thomas the ropes. It will be interesting to see how
Syrian Thomas reacts to his first gay sex, indeed his first sex with another person. I look forward to seeing the video.
