Just a nosy Guy here. But You ever wonder what happened too. Zander Floyd, Junior, Ben, Zach, Levi, Jason,Chandler, John Henry,
Justin, Brody, Zeno Kostas, Just to name a few.I know the shelf life is not long. Some just can't do it any more.Some like Brandon,
Vadim Black, Paul go on to bigger things. Some do cam shows. Where they probably make more money. I just wonder? Here today
Gone Tomorrow with out a Good By. I know management does not need to tell us anything.With me I grew to like Zander Floyd, Ben and Zeno Kostas.
And I wonder if they would ever come back? But I guess it is a business.I guess I feel because of the Forum we are a little
closer than most porn sites. And it would be nice knowing what happened to some of the boys we did like recently?
Oh.. And I wonder what happened to Dakota? He seemed to like being back?

The only one I can comment on with any certainty is Junior, who did go over to a different studio and still does his webcam shows. As for making better money on webcams, that's probably unlikely. I mod for a couple rooms on CB and am friends with a couple models, and I know the one made about $10,000 last year from his webcam shows. Not bad, but that's for a year's work (although granted, he's not on that often, so I guess it isn't bad money). Although I have NO knowledge of what Broke Straight Boys pays the boys, I would think that one could make $10,000 a lot faster doing steady shoots here. I know they used to advertise "make up to $50,000 a year" in the recruiting stuff, but I don't know if that is still the case, and just how many scenes someone has to shoot to earn that sort of money. The plus side of camming that I see is that you work from home when you want and as much or as little as you want. I tried to get Tyler White to get into camming while he was working on getting a new agent and studio, so he'd have some sort of money coming in, but he wasn't interested. I think he'd make decent money since he's a known commodity in the porn industry (or was).

But yes, as you say, their shelf life isn't too long, either, at least with the "boy" aspect of Broke Straight Boys Some have gotten older and gone to different studios with different "themes," and I'm sure most probably just don't do it anymore and have gotten on with their lives and (hopefully) careers and families. But I am with you, Johnny, as I DO wonder whatever became of a lot of them. As you say, we feel closer to some of them here on Broke Straight Boys and take an interest in their lives. And I am also nosey, like you, and would love "the dish" on stuff like what really happened with Dakota, etc., but know we'll never get it and don't honestly expect the company to be that unprofessional and tell, anyway. And that's good. I appreciate them being professional like that. But it's human nature to be nosey, I guess!

Honestly I think the outside looking in perspective is interesting however I'm not gunna talk numbers ,but to tell you the truth I've made more on webcams then porn has ever paid me. Now porn and cam collaborations are good because one it's fun it spices things up and gives the people what they want especially from a solo cammers perspective and expands your reach in terms of this fan base and that one which is all relative to getting paid

Okay, that's great. I was just going by what I was TOLD by someone I know on CB. I'm sure each case is different. I know some people do make great money, especially if they have a loyal following and are good to their fans, and I know of others who don't make crap. I've been in your CB room a couple times and I know how you perform and treat your followers, so I can understand why you do well.

Sadly I doubt you'll ever see Tyler White back here. He offered to come back recently and was told no thanks. He left the first time under not so great circumstances (again, from what HE said -- I have no insider knowledge of the business -- I'm just going by what I was told by Tyler). But that WOULD be hot! He's looking for work -- maybe you can set something else up?
