You cannot go away and be internet challenged and unable to connect with your friends and fans here at Broke Straight Boys without hearing from folks who will want to grant you wishes for an absolutely fabulous adventure upon the Eastern Caribbean Sea!! I realize you are packing (I'm referring to suitcases!!!) and busy with preparations and forum time might be limited but I wanted to say have a great, relaxing, exciting, fulfilling, and may every other wish you might make be granted!

You will be missed! Want you to know I will be lighting a candle in my Friday, October 30th morning donut and singing at full lungs "Happy Birthday to Tampa"!!! Perhaps others who read this will join in and you will hear our echos for best wishes wash out over the sea to your cabin or balcony or dance floor or pool side or on some island. Wherever you are, may you feel blessed and enjoy the time of your life!!

I have often thought the names of the particular categories be more defining. For instance, change

General Chat Forum (not membership site related) -to- FORUM MEMBERS' GENERAL CHAT

Membership Site Chat, Comments & Suggestions -to- Broke Straight Boys SITE FORUM

To me the expression, "membership site" is confusing. We are all paying subscribing "members" of this site and registered "members" of this forum.

I know there are some computer techies at Broke Straight Boys that could possibly fix this. I can understand even some of our scholars getting confused on this issue.

That is my scholarly intellectual response for the day.

I think talking about the state of world affairs and the state of the site are different things. not sure where to place good wishes to a long time member. in any case, the wrong placement of thread by a new member is nothing like doing the same thing on a repeated basis.
repeat offenders are treated differently than first-time offenders. certainly differently than someone making a choice different from one I might have made.
equal treatment without fairness is not a goal I pursue.
I wish tampa a safe and fun voyage!

I hope you have a truly great cruise. I had the pleasure of wishing Tampa Happy Birthday on Oct. 30 in Tampa. I had about a 2 and a half hour lay over, so we met at the airport. I had a couple of gifts I presented to him. As you can tell, I travel around the world taking photos of total eclipse of the sun. So I present to Tampa a few of my best ones. i wish I could have spent more time with Tampa, but I did not want to miss my connecting flight and you never know how long it takes to go through security.

I'll share a good story though. Per our plan, when I landed I would call Tampa to let him know I down so we can arrange exactly where to meet. I called and texted, no response. Do I exit security to find him or what? I finally get a call but it is not Tampa. It is his mom. It seems that Tampa was so excited about getting together with me, he left his cell phone at home. As it turns out I think he has something like Onstar or something so that he could be reach that way and we finally met up. WE both got a good laugh out of it.

It might be fund if there was some way to have a Broke Straight Boys forumite get together, in Florida. We could meet with Mark and Sha and have an entertaining time. I know some of you might like to meet models at this, and I get that, but I would not want to do anything that might put under stress under them. Years ago, Dannybear and I where trying to work with then Director David to see about doing a Broke Straight Boys cruise where David, Eddie, some models and members could all get together. But it never panned out.

Tampa, perhaps you could work on possibilities for something in good all Tampa once you recover from your cruise.

Yes. It was a great birthday present in itself to able to see and chat with Vicekid in person on my birthday. We met at Tampa International Airport and had a great time catching up a little bit over a light breakfast. We had met once before in Orlando a few years ago when business travel had brought him to Florida.

My vacation was wonderful. I had a great time. It's also good to be home though. haha
