The problem wih constantly bashing Germans who were members of the Hitler Youth as pre-teens and teenagers is that these were people who were under the care of their parenst or legal guardians PLUS the Hitler Youth were similar to the BoyScouts/Pfadfinder. In that time, as now, does anyone who tries to hold these then-teenagers responsible as if they were adults forgets that most teenagers are looking for a sense of belonging and community that is age-appropriate that their freinds take part in and that their parents approve. It would be the EXCEPTIONAL AND OMNISCIENT CHILD/TEENAGER/YOUTH WHO WOULD REJECT MEMBERSHIP GIVEN THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS AND THE FACT THAT THIS ONE HAD THE MORAL AND ETHICAL BACKING OF RELIGIOUS, POLITICAL, AND MILITARY LEADERS AT EVERY LEVEL OF SOCIETY (LIKE THE BOY SCOUTS- WHO ARE ANTI-GAY AND WERE FOR MANY YEARS ANTI-BLACK AND ANTI-MEXICAN)....Being a member of Hitler Youth is not a valid reason to criticize. Now, if after the youth becomes an adult and defends Hitler and his governments racist and exclusionist policies as laudable then that is another matter all together, because this person hold anti-human convictions that are repugnant.
Suppose a Palestinian or an Israeli Arab were to hold Israeli Youth responsible for joining and particpating in Jewish organizations that promote community, family and issues deemed improtant in Israeli society when these pre-teens and teens are under incredible social pressure to conform and join. It would take an exceptional Israeli Jewish Youth to go against the dominant socio-cultural view. Now if this Israeli Jewish Youth becomes an adult and advocates politicies that defend the extermination of Arabs and Palestinians - like Hitler's and his government's policies did with regard to Jews (secular and/or practicing) and Homosexual and Gypsies and Social Outcasts then there is reason to demand that this person defend his positions as they are anti-human and offensive to humankind..
Imagine the sheer amount of people who could be made ineligible or hounded out of jobs/positions for actions taken in their youth as pre-teens and teenagers when they were attempting to fulfill familial and social expectations deemed appropriate before they were able to be self0supporting adults, who might choose (a hard choice) to sever relations with their families. The point is that too many people seem to expect superhuman (UberMensch) behavior from everyday ordinary go with the flow people that exist in the overwhelmimng majority in every society throughout time.
Will those who do porn be subjected to the same bullshit persecutorial zeal that fails to recognize that porn or any exposition of the body is usually harmless and only available, like the services of a prostitute to those humans who have the means/resources to pay for the entertainment?
