What's up with these BSB forums????

Got your attention. Huh?

The more you get to know me the more you will realize I also have a comic side to me. I am not all sad and tears. Think of the classical depictions of the "Comedy and Drama" symbols. I tend to lean more to the comedy aspect of the two. At my old age I try to avoid "drama" at all cost.

So, you ask. What does this have to do with the forums? Grab your dictionaries and Thesarius and I will explain.

I belong to various nudist sites as well as sex (mum's the word) sites. I have participated in the various chat rooms and forums but I have noticed a big difference here. It is one that delights me.

In the other sites, you usually are exposed to one or two liners in the responses. Most are generic and not personal at all. Here, I have found that the members are genuine and caring. We write sentences, paragraphs and sometimes mini novels. It feels more like a family chatting around the diner table.

Since I joined this forum, I have shed tears, laughed my head off, and shared things I seldom put in print.

Ya'll are a special bunch of people. Thank you for welcoming me and allowing me to be me.

I feel the exact same way. I was a already a member here when Mark instituted a forum, and thought how cool it would be to have a place to discuss the scenes and the models, and I thought it would be all about gay sex involving young straight guys, and it has become something so much more. And I really love when new members get involved and become contributors here. And you Louis are a most welcomed member to our dysfunctional little family.

What a great post. Thank you for sharing all those sentiments with us Louis. We do have a family of sorts in here. Many times it does feel like we're getting together with friends for a cup of coffee or a beer and just chatting about whatever's on our minds at the time. I guess I have naively taken for granted that that was kind of the norm. If so, then I'm even happier to be in a place that is more unique than I would have thought. lol

Chuck is on the staff of the site and has told us that the Broke Straight Boys forum grew and evolved into something they never expected. I'm sure they thought in the beginning that it would be good as a source of customer feedback on the content of the site. Obviously it has come to be something exponentially more valuable than that for members for all of us members.
