Sorry you didn't like it. I loved it.
That normally would have ended up on the cutting room floor. Sha couldn't let them continue down that melancholy path and so often if a scene starts off rough or without any energy or passion... we'll start over. In this instance though, Xavier showed his true personality and I think it was totally authentic and legit. I loved seeing that huge personality and thought the wrestling that was unprompted and spontaneous was too good to send to the trash. So, yeah, it's different. But I think of it as an extended interview and once they got to wrestling, their testosterone and adrenalin helped the scene overall. But, different strokes for different folks and all that. Truly sorry, you didn't like it but it was unplanned and unscripted. I can't see that it would really ever happen again.
