A perfect example of the ratings being complete bullshit sometimes. The Ethan solo, as cute as we all agree he is, is ranked higher than the Benjamin, Jos Alvarez, Richie threesome AND the Jake/Marcus scene.

I can feel your pain Jay, as there are scenes and models with very high ratings that I consider "complete bullshit" sometimes myself. But we must remember that rating porn is a very inexact science and what you may consider hot, someone else may consider crap and vice versa. For me Ethan's lack of a full erection detracted from the hotness of the solo but to another person's sensibilities it may be considered hotter than what we consider a hot full sex scene.

Once again there is no "right or wrong" when it comes to sex and porn. I learned a long time ago to just accept some things that happen here that we can not control and just shake my head in wonderment.

A model once told me he have never checked the forum because other models warned him not to do that, because he might be sad and frustrated with some of the comments.

Being here for a while now I understand them... If people would judge my work so 'eloquently' while hiding behind a screen I would at least want to have the right to answer with the same politeness.

Jay, while I do not believe that management makes their decisions about who to bring back based on our comments on the forum, I also don't believe you are "wasting time" posting here. From reading your posts I do believe that you enjoy the camaraderie and sense of community that this forum provides. We certainly don't all agree with one another, but I look at the forum as a dysfunctional family, but a family nevertheless.

Sometimes models participate here but my belief is that most are only doing the porn for the money. There used to be a whole section on the forum for the models to post but that was discontinued due to a lack of interest on the model's part. And back in those days there was no twitter so now you guys who like to talk to them have an outlet.

I've always felt that the forum was for us, the members and that occasionally management and the models comment but this is our place and not theirs. In fact one of my favorite posts ever made by a model was when the beautiful and intelligent Ronan Kennedy came on here to explain a misconception that we had where he caused a fellow model to bleed during a sex scene. It was purely an accident but Ronan Kennedy was so eloquent in explaining what happened. And he concluded his post by saying that it would probably be his one and only post, (which it was) as the forum belongs to us the members and not to the models.

To me Jay, you and Bart and my other forum friends are more important to hear from than the guys who film the porn. Maybe that's just me and Ronan Kennedy (lol), but I really feel that way.......

And Rep, you and I have met each other and we both met Bart. We know that we are all real people with real thoughts and opinions. And while you or I may not have the looks for filming porn, (Bart is younger and prettier than us, lol). But my point is that the forum is here for us to offer opinions. And while no one should be rude to a model, we have every right to say who we find hot and who we do not, regardless of our own looks.

It is like commenting on sports or the arts. Critics can pan a performance whether they can hit a baseball or act in a movie themselves. I see nothing wrong with us stating our likes and dislikes without being mean or nasty. If we could not state our honest opinions here, there would be no point for a forum. We have the scene pages where we can be complementary, but here we can be honest in discussing models and scenes, without being rude. And I think that is good and appropriate.

I love the taller, beefier straight guys like Ryan. Things can kinda get a little boring around here with the same ole same ole. I am a person who often complains about "there not being enough straight models", but all straight men are not created equally. I have no problem with guys like Ryan Pitt or Denver Dubois being on the site for those into their type of straight guy, as we all have different taste in the type of person who turns us on. But on the other hand, I would think that management would not say "WTF" and understand that just because a model is a straight type that doesn't necessarily satisfy the type that everyone into straight guys is looking for.

Very concise. I'm in the anti-Ryan camp, but I mean for my personal viewing. If they bring him back they bring him back. Different people have different tastes, and that's okay.
