Difficult to actually estimate. Suffice it to say, I experienced pretty much the same for those I produce/direct. At that time, the plum was filmed with Prune A (able to get Prune A off with practically a mere touch), resulting in Prune A's becoming infatuated with the plum, causing Prune B to become incredibly jealous The best way Prune B utilized to maintain the bromance between him and Prune A was to harass the plum enough to force him to quit. Speculation had it Prune B even went to the site's upper echelons to collaborate his device to rid the site of the plum. Add to this the plum was expediently becoming quite popular and threatened Prune B's own popularity, so in retaliation against Prune A, Prune B arranged to be filmed with another plum, and the scene was aired. Had I not witnessed this with my own eyes, I would have laughed at Prune B's immaturity more than I did. Regardless, Prune A and Prune B realized their days with that site were numbered, since the calender took their external charms and replaced them with their internal ugliness. Both models soon afterwards moved on.

After reading that article about Dallas Reeves "pinching" Broke Straight Boys models and having a big scene come out with Johnny Forza & Vadim Black together, I see that the porn industry is like any other. I've recently read about a popular reporter on Good Morning America, jumping ship to join another network, or a radio personality leaving one station to sign for more money with another, or in the old Hollywood studio days, an actor jumping ship for a more lucrative contract.

And of course this goes on in the sports world of professional athletes who are "free agents" signing with a rival team, and it happens every day in corporate America, and so it goes in the porn industry too. It is just the way it is. I wish Vadim Black a lot of luck, as he is very attractive and obviously has attracted a large fan base in a very short time, kind of the "rookie of the year" of porn.

Indeed Mike you are correct. We are all free agents to pick and choose where we live, what job to do and once having a job or trade which company to work for. Vadim Black is a hot looking guy but I'm not overly impressed with his manhood - just saying lol.

I was told years ago that there are three requirements to be a gay porn star, great face, great body, and large cock, and that you need to have at least two of the three to make it in the business. Vadim Black certainly has the great face and body, so I don't think his lack of having a huge kielbasa will slow down his career. However as Peter has said several times, he needs to get better as a sexual performer to get more scenes. Looks are the start but the fans want to see ability too!

Thanks for the heads up Mtfrc. I knew DR would be a step down for any model leaving here. You've just added some confirmation that it's a really big step down. I hope both Johnny Forza and Vadim Black will be okay over there. :/

Stowe, I get the impression that these models who move around from studio to studio, typically base their decision on who pays the most. I would think that job stability and long term planning are not often involved in their chosen profession.

I agree with you in this with respect to models who have somewhat of a reputation in the business. Go to the Dallas Reeves site and click on the list of models (you don't have to join). I've heard of one or two. Perhaps you have heard of more, but then go to the Men.com site and do the same and I think you will see a lot more names you might be familiar with, including our own Jimmy Johnson. Also Rocco Reed who has done more than 1000 straight porn shoots, when he decided to go gay for pay he went with Men.com I think given your premise he went with the top money site and one with a much better rep than DR. Given what you and I have heard about DR, I find it hard to believe he pays better than Men.com a much bigger site. Reeves is a "D" lister and he gets for the most part maybe some "C" listers but other "D" listers whom he can get on the cheap.
