John Henry ~
Chris Crocker is one of those people who is (if I might be so bold) "famous, for being famous". He made one YouTube video in which he tearfully (and hysterically) defended Britney Spears against her many critics, and has reaped everlasting fame, for this. He has tried to be a singer (not very successfully); he has tried to be a philosopher, and life counselor (less successfully); and he has tried to become an erotic-video-star, too. All of those things sort of fizzled out.
Yes, some of his videos are sometimes amusing, John Henry. . . but my sense of Chris Crocker is that he is a person who has been desperately seeking attention, and fame, quite consciously - right from the get-go, for many, many, years. He seems to me to be a very narcissistic and self-absorbed individual, John Henry. And sort of a human train-wreck, in reality.
John Henry, I think YOU are a much more interesting, engaging, and genuine person than Chris Crocker - by a country mile. In every way.
