Well fellas its been fun but its time for me to cancel my subscription. I hate paying for something I'm not using. I'm not using this site because its no longer entertaining. Boy how things have changed since I first signed up. I'm not sure what you guys are trying to do but its no longer working. I wish all the boys well....Especially Paul & Damien. Take Care and Be Kind to One Another!

I agree that the site has lost what I joined it for, but I am going to wait it out a little longer to see if things pick up. It seems like we keep seeing the same models over and over.
I have read the posts made by the sites people and that is why I am willing to hang on a little longer. I want to give them a chance to right the ship so to speak.
The new guys that they have brought in have been ok, it is just that we are seeing them over and over and over- over exposure.
I have been checking out other sites and have discovered that Trevor has been around the porn block, he has been on many other sites. I know Broke Straight Boys has no control over that but it diminishes the theme of what they are trying to sell us.
I could go on but I think that I have said enough. I am willing to wait a little longer before jumping ship.

I'm sorry that funbilly is leaving and although I hate to see the site losing members, I appreciate his at least saying why he is leaving.

And I appreciate lpdude's stating his feelings too and I appreciate his giving Mark and his team a chance to pick things up before he abandon's ship too. I am trying to stay optimistic that the last few months have just been a bump in the road as Broke Straight Boys moves onward and upward!

I'm sorry to see you go Funbilly. Hopefully in a few months you'll check out what's available here and you'll be eager to come back.

I am sorry to see you go. I highlighted one sentance that stands out about not be entertaining. It is a valid issues. But from managements point-of-view, this does not help them address the issue. I don't know what this means. Do you think management does? I would ask you to be specific as to what you mean. This way management can read it and get an better understanding what, in this case, a member is looking for. Let management know your expectations (nicely) so they can analysis and react to it. This is not aimed at you but any one who is not happy. The more specific we are the easier it is for management to react to and improve.

Wish you well and hope you will come back one day.

Lpdude,

AS I just did with Funbill I highlighted two of your points. Why not explain what you mean so mangement can react. What did it lose from your point-of-view? AS for the same models over and over? What does that mean to you? How often should we see a model say in a week, month? As has been stated they bring out 3-5 models for a weeks stay. Each model may do 3-4 (perhaps more scenes in a week), then the next group comes in. Is this too much? It would not make economical to fly out models for 1 or two scenes, so what should they do. Again, nothing wrong with bring up these points, but if we can all do a better job of explaining what we mean, that is the best way for mangement to understand our thinking and react to.

As a manager for many years, if someone came to me and said things are not fun here it is time for me to leave. That does not help me react to or change the environment. Again, not picking on you, but with all the negatives we have been doing, we truly need to be more specific so management can better understand us and our expectations.

I do expect it will change, but sometimes there are bumps in the road and it takes longer to fix than expected. So do write back and be specific so managment knows your expectations.

I think you need to go back and read the forum for maybe the last 6 months. This is not the Broke Straight Boys of Old that you seem to know about.
It is a new ballgame with new players. If I just joined for the porn I would leave too.Why pay for Bad
porn when you can get Good porn for free.People have been complaining about the same thing for a long time.
Bad Porn missing Models. Just go back and read . I think that would answer allot of the questions you ask.

Johnny,

I am not in disagreement with you. But many times we speak in a general sense. And we all speak differently. I think we need a thread that perhaps ask more specifically : What are the expectations? Keep in mind not everyone agrees. And many have totally different points of view. One says we keep seeing the same models over and over. Yet at the same time, many want to See Damien, Paul and Tyler. How does one balance seeing too much or not enough. Think what management goes through reading something like this. It goes down to what is the right balance. I don't now what that is.

In addition, since we talked about the direction of Broke Straight Boys in a zillion differnt thread, perhaps to help focus management it might be nice to see if we have a single thread that allows us to share our specific thoughts and expectation, perhaps in a bullet form so management can see more clearly what we want. Mind you, our individually may drive them crazy for one concern is another members I'm ok with it. If you read all the views likek you mention, are there common themes? Perhaps some are, others not. I just thought it might be nice when member have concerns they be more specific to help management.

When I had the chance to speak to Damian C. I went into great detail with him from my point-of-view and gave him numerous examples of what I was talking about. Unfortunately, he move on to something new, so what I had discussed with him and his interest in following up, naturally did not happen. But it was the detailed info. that was most helpful to him. Note, my comments to him were strictly from me and no way was meant to be a forum point-of view.

I appreciate what you are saying and value what you say. Not to mention I enjoy reading your many post.

As I am now leaving on vacation, I won't have much opportunity to follow-up on this, but I will when I get back next week.

Way, way back in college I took a course titled "The Universal Law of Reality". Simply stated, what you put out into the universe comes back to you, sometimes two fold. Johnny, this must come naturally to you. Your words mention a happy place to a not so happy place. If we send this message out to the universe, it will surely happen.
But then you turned it upside down and positive. Good work on your part and great thoughts to send out. I immediately thought of getting out of the studio occasionally. Change of scenery. Two cowboys walk into the woods to pee, strangers kidnap a straight kid, hot tub scenes, more pool scenes. gay couple make their debtor a slave for pay off.

I would like to apologize for the way things have been. Many changes have been in the works for months and lots of new models. We have had some major bumps in the road and I apologize for the delay with things. We will now be using multiple locations, studios etc. It all starts with College Dudes next round of shoots.

Thank you Mark, first for acknowledging that there is a problem that needs to be corrected. I consider that a very positive thing as it shows that you are not content to let thing keep going on, as they have been for the last number of months.

I wasn't quitting anyway, but I will have a sense of anticipation for the new models, locations and studios that you mention. I'm sorry that it's starting with College Dudes as I'm not a member and it's not my thing, but please let us know when the changes will be implemented on Broke Straight Boys The proof of course will be in the pudding but thank you for giving me a reason to believe that there will be improvements.

I debated whether or not to post this because people might presume it is coming from my curmudgeon-ness. It is not. I have held this view for a long time now and privately expressed it a a fellow forumite or two. And that is this -

I genuinely and sincerely do not understand the compulsion people have to start a thread announcing that they are leaving the site. Is it a matter of ego? I might understand it in the case of our "forever" forumites like mikey, jon, tampa, because if any of them were to suddenly disappear that would be a tectonic shift here in forumland. But someone with 6 posts in two years - not so much. But other than that, I just don't understand the need. And cynic that I am, just because someone says they are leaving, there is no proof they have done so.

I have been a member for a very long time. I loved watching the "negotiating" and the 'progression" of models through a series of scenes..much like what we are seeing today with James. But, other than his scenes, it seems that each scene that each scene is the same. Match up a pair of models and put them in front of a camera and have them suck and fuck...hello and goodbye. It seems to me to be formula porn. I don't look forward to new scenes like i use to. I still check the site at least once a week and usually check the most recent two or three releases and will usually fast forward through them. I use to be very active on the forum as well. Guess I am just not sure how much longer I will maintain my membership. The good ship Broke Straight Boys, I feel, has lost its rudder. I hope Mark's comments above will set this ship on a new and much improved course.

Mark you mentioned College Dudes You also have the TV program. Maybe do some combining of them all . Have scenes from all similar to HSBoys. There are aspects of Broke Straight Boys we all love and some older guys in College Dudes those who have it love. Maybe make a complete change in Broke Straight Boys and do Broke Straight Men. Possibly reconfigure what we get as bonus sites. Those that are leaving don't mention the other included sites. As for Broke Straight Boys alone the theme stays the same. Hopefully only a few are leaving and many more are joining. Only you know the statistics. As for me since everything is personal in their wanting to leave. Im fully satisfied with the large variety of sites and themes.

I agree joey. If I'm not happy with the porn thats being shown on Broke Straight Boys or the lack of interest on the forum, I visit HSBoys and that it inself is worthy of my monthly membership. College Dudes keeps me as a member strictly for the back porn of some of my favs from years past, so I hope that changes Alex Greene can't carry that site alone..

Good post Chase. The site has indeed become very boring as far as scenes are concerned and although I welcome Mark's comment, I'm afraid that I've seen such comments before. The site certainly did lose it's rudder when director Johnny Robbins become "ill" and was never to return. Well cynic that I am, why didn't they just say he's moved on or been fired. As much as I like Sha, I don't think he's a great director or cameraman and if Mark is going to make changes, it is there that he needs to start.

I agree Jon that when Johnny Robins left the filming on Broke Straight Boys, there was a negative impact on the porn, however to my understanding Sha is not directing or doing the camera work. He is interviewing while his long time friend and business partner Brice Jones is doing the camera work. I like Sha's on camera presence very much and Brice Jones is also improving in his technical work. I believe that with a new pool of superior talent, the technical issues can be worked out.

Since you may not have had the pleasure or experience, often times when I have canceled a subscription to a porn site, there is an option of... reason for leaving question. This is almost the same thing.
