My main entertainment on my big screen streaming TV is YouTube. A lot of the content I consume involves politics, pretty young guys, music primarily from my era of sixties rock, history and content involving my favorite sports teams. However I do expand my viewership to other areas that interest me and I subscribe to the channel of Peter Santenello who travels around the United States and the world to do videos of real people in various cities and states.I just watched an hour of him traveling through three old cities in New Mexico which I find fascinating to see how people live their lives and where they live. I felt like sharing my love of this kind of content. Here are a few thumbnails of some of his vast collection of videos, including here in Brooklyn in the insular world of Hasidic Jews in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Perhaps you might enjoy his channel too.

Call me old but I still have a landline, it is the only phone# I give out to the public, I never answer it it always goes to voice mail and keeps me from getting BS sales calls to my mobile, sometime I can receive 12 robo calls a day and the funny thing is they never leave a message. It's an extra $100 a month but tome its worth it.

A rotary phone. I don't know when they were phased out, because we didn't have a phone til I was 16. I think most of the phones I had had the buttons in the part you talk into.

After rotary phones, the push button phones became popular. But as a kid, one had to put your finger in the slot and dial the numbers. It sure took a lot longer to make a phone call.
