Ummm -
I don't like "The Price is Right", anymore - because of Bob Barker's insufferable defence of the beavers I like for my HATS. (I will concede, to Drake, however, that when I was young, it was fun to guess the prices of the FABULOUS showcases, which were far beyond anything available on Canadian game-shows: whose biggest prize was mostly "dinner for two", at a restaurant in downtown Moose Jaw.)
"Let's Make A Deal", I sort of HAVE to like, in principle, because its host, Monty Hall, was a Canadian. Unfortunately, it wasn't carried on the one channel we had, at the igloo at the North Pole, when I was a wee lad.
"Family Feud" was mildly entertaining - in its original incarnation, featuring Richard Dawson.
On the whole, Drake, I choose, as my favourite game-show (this is a rather obtuse and hermetic joke, for Tampa, and Stowe, and perhaps others): "Firing-Line", hosted by William F. Buckley ;-)))
Chortling wickedly,
"A" ;-))) XOXOXOXOXO
*Get out your pillows, boys* ~
