Tanner uses his twitter account to say he is retiring from porn

This is my first post. I had to sadly tell that Tanner has said he no longer will be doing porn. I thanked him & wished him the best life has to offer. I feel his fans need to know. I will miss him, but happy to know he stepped up to tell everyone.

I saw that too, peter, and had mix emotions about whether or not to start a thread on it. Thinking possibly he would have said something here, if he wanted it to be known here, 'first', but who knows? As well who knows the reasons he is retiring from porn

I am always happy for a kid who realizes that porn is not a life's career and who uses it to make some extra money when they are starting out. I've said many times that if I had a young friend or nephew or other relative who asked advise, I would advise them to not get involved in this industry as there are so many pitfalls and so many wind up in not a good place.

I do believe that Tanner was different from most, and as Johnny often points out from his social media pictures and his Broke Straight Boys pictures of himself dressed before scenes that he is well dressed with nice jewelry, and a great hair style and apparently is not in any way "broke". My speculation is that Tanner did the porn here kind of as a lark, just because he knew he could and while the money obviously supplemented his income, I never thought he "needed" it. I thank Tanner and wish him well in life, and I feel confident he will be a very successful young man. Good luck to a very classy young man!

I agree totally with you, mikey. However, I seem to remember Tanner's saying on one of those bts's that what he earned on Broke Straight Boys helped him get through school without having any student loan burden. So admittedly he didn't need Broke Straight Boys to put food on the table it did enable him to avoid future debt. And as you said not broke in the sense that one would usually think of that word's meaning.

When I read this thread, I first thought of our dear friend johnny who was Tanner's biggest fan by far.I hope he's not too disappointed.
