to me, the sliding into heteronormative "fuck thr fag" cliche--the verbal abuse, the obviously faked (cuz they're all paid volunteers and no one is actually being abused or raped) demands, etc. for scenes just doesn't work. I left my subscription once before during an era at
Broke Straight Boys when virtually every scene was highlighted by calling the one playing bottom a bitch, and the ones playing top high fiving it and proclaiming it wasn't a gay thing, it was a guy thing. I realize that for some older gay men who grew up during a time when this sort of approach to man on man sex was fairly normal --everyone not taking the dick believing themselves to be better due to their adherance to heterosexual attitudes (the one taking the dick was the fag)--and added some tittilation to sex. nit that was a long time ago guys. a different era. now, thankfully, there is little difference to younger men between homo and hetero sex. and the one taking dick is no more or less a fag than the one's delivering dick. In fct, no one involved is a fag. It's just sex and it feels good and everybody involved is just getting off. especially the boys on this site, as exclusive tops don't seem to last very long anymore, so they've ALL taken dick at one time or another. so the scenario comes off as strained and archaic. Tanner enjoys taking cock as much as he enjoys giving it. So, he trying to come off as the str8 guy just doing a fag comes off more like a parody than anything else. But
Broke Straight Boys is about fantasy and I think the producers were just trying to provide that fantasy for those that remember the days of being on all fours in an alley being "used" by deeply closeted guys who used projection to berate themselves by berating the guy they were fucking. historically and psychologically, there is that fantasy niche--but like I said, it came off more as a parody than anything else. I thought the entirety of the scene was forced and pathetic so didn't enjoy it at all.
