Hi Everyone,
I had no idea several months ago that I would become one of the more prolific posters on the forum. In fact I set up my profile and then waited a couple of months before I took the plunge. I had all kinds of concerns about what type of people would be in a chat room on a porn site. My mind swirled with the possibility of all kinds of pervs and deviants. I needn't have worried.
I snooped for a while and read some of the conversations. I was immediately impressed by the quality of writing. I had also been concerned that the forum might be full of IMing abbreviations that drive me nuts. I worried that it would be full of things like: hw r u 2dy? I was pleasantly surprised there too. I don't like to have to decipher conversations. I found out right away that I wouldn't have to.
Not only was the writing good but the intelligence of the discussions left no doubt that we were bright, worldly and mature adults. I'm still amazed at how close we can become through as medium such as this. I count many of you as friends even though we have never met face to face.
I continue to learn things from all of you every day. You guys really do enrich my life. The forum has been a godsend to me. I have had numerous things going on in my personal life over the last several months to stress me out. The forum has given me an outlet to express myself, learn from others and yes...to dispel lonliness.
I want to thank David, Mark and Scorpio in particular for being such great guys. Lord knows they have taken their share of grief from us at times in the forum. They are so quick to respond to us with kindness and professionalism. They really do a great job. Week after week they give us so much quality entertainment for a reasonable price. Many other sites out there give their members far less for the money.
In all the time I've been in the forum I have never met anyone I didn't like. I may disagree with some of the opinions expressed in here from time to time but I hold no ill will towards anyone. That even includes the dreaded He Who Must Not Be Named. LOL
The forum addictuion had hit me so hard that I made a conscious choice to back off a little bit over the last few weeks. I have been going through health issues, the death of a close neighbor as well as other things that needed more of my time and attention. This also occured at a time when I found the discussions in the forum to be less compelling than at other times in the past. It does do a body good to step away from the computer once in a while. LOL The quality of conversation will come back to the forum though. Just like the tide to the shore.
It is my privilige to know all of you in here. We are all a bit of a dysfunctional family. As Tiny Tim would say: "God bless us...every one." LOL
