Stirring The Pot

Seeing as it is Thursday, why don't you wait till the pot boils before you stir it. And, since so many people seem to be having fun with this thread, why don't you leave them alone and let them play. It causes you no pain and, in this time of drought on the forum, at least someone is posting.

Is that the pot calling the kettle beige?

I know the US is behind, including time. It is already Friday here.
And seeing as I was the one who started this thread I shall dictate the terms & conditions of it's use.

It is amazing how lazy some people are when they start a new thread to ask a question or make a comment on an issue when all they had to do was open their eyes & look for & read threads that already exist that cover that particular subject.

When I first started posting I was made to feel unwelcome, so that may be the reason more people dont post or post on once in a while. That did not stop me from posting it only made me do it more. It alos seems as if you need to be part of the inner circle to be welcome on the forum. Again that has not stopped me.

People probably post negatively because they are frustrated with what is going on. I know I have been frustrated with things in the past. After all we do pay for this, so our voice should be heard.

If the forum is only for happy/positive posts it should be named that for that in stead of membership site chat, suggestions & comments.

So to end my rant in a positive way, I wish you a happy day with the sunshinning and the birds singing.

actually, i dont mean to stir the pot, but Broke Straight Boys time is east coast time. thats when the updates go up at midnight and everything...just a thought

I am constantly fascinated by what post's will move "the artist formerly known as rifle to post". As on this thread I didn't see it coming. But I do enjoy your posts more and more, perhaps because you typically lie in the weeds, and pick and choose your spots. But an appearance by Rifle is like seeding the clouds, "in this time of drought on the forum".

lpdude, please keep posting as much as you like. As Rifle said, this is a time of drought here, and we need people to speak their mind here. There is no "inner circle". The more you post, the more you will be part of what you perceive to be inside. We are all the same, and your voice is interesting, and definitely not "kiss ass p/c".

Some threads start out as one thing and evolve into whatever they may. Just because you start a thread/discussion doesn't give you dictatorship over what will be said in it. There seem to be a lot of misunderstandings where peoples sense of humor are concerned. That is sad, especially since the issue goes both ways, and it should not always have to be one age group conceding to the other, there are mistakes on both sides of that fence.

Secondly, there is a huge time difference between members, and there should not be an issue of anyone having to follow Broke Straight Boys Studio time. I for one, wish like hell it was Friday, for me right now.

1. LP you are so very right. Someone on another thread commented on the number of people who posted for the first time and where 'shut down' for it. Statistically, it's very true. To make that fact even more outrageous, check the date of their memberships: it's usually true that they've been a member for many months and finally got the nerve to talk. There's never been a good balance between 'welcoming' new discussions and 'putting down' new comments. Marky and Tampa were always good at the former, but, wow, look at the experts at the latter. . .Anyway, I liked what you had to say, even though you've been around for quite a while.

2. JW: who's to say when Broke Straight Boys time is. Perhaps new scenes go up at 10pm Denver time and not 12am DC time. Or maybe it's 9pm LA time or. . .well, it could be 3 hairs past a freckle on a glorious ginger cock. Or when the sun dial strikes noon.

3. Yes, an apology is owed to Ray. Nothing either of us said even hinted at a disturbance. It was merely two people trying to exorcise a city of ghosts in what has become a tomb of late. You fired a taser into a crowd of two. Ray, I deeply apologize for having responded to your post with a touch of wit, for having laughed when you responded likewise to mine, and for having the temerity to attempt a witty retort.
