Sterling Fucks Izzy - scene thread

I just saved an image for my thread involving Trevor Laster I had forgotten he was a model on Broke Straight Boys In looking at his many scenes, I came across another interesting favorite

At times he was so hot to me and at others not. But as I recall he was great in whatever role he did.

I am going to comment on this post on the “Former Broke Straight Boys Models” thread as I think that thread should be about the “Sterling & Izzy” scene.

Izzy and Sterling's post scene interview has not yet posted. After what took place in their scene, it has the potential to be more interesting than most. When I posted late yesterday morning after having watched the scene, its rating was only 3.1. I just rechecked today, the the scene rating has jumped to 4.0, an amazing increase considering how low the rating started. So I may have underestimated the overall Broke Straight Boys membership, when I predicted yesterday that enough fans would hate Izzy pushing the envelope to take it out on the scene's ratings.

KG mentioned two posts above how the ratings on this scene jumped in a day. That is why I say that we need to wait a bit on a new scene or a new model to judge the ratings. When a new video or model appear the first few votes skew the numbers radically. Members have different viewing patterns and may not watch on the first day, but over time when more people have checked them out, we get a better idea of what general membership thinks. When we look back at top rated scenes and models, I admire the older ones who still appear near the top, as they have stood the test of time and many many votes. Time separates the truly popular ones from the flashes in the pan, so to speak.

I have said this before, for statistics to be relevant one must look at the number of votes have been cast. A number below 100 voters can not be trusted.

Exactly. I don’t expect management to tell us how many votes are cast as those are private statistics, but it stands to reason that after one day there will be few, but as days, weeks, months and years go by, the rating means more and more.

Well it would be something in their favor to do so. Then they could claim that the model is truly worthy of his high or relatively modest score. A more meaningful statistic would to show what percent of the ratings are in say the highest 2 grades versus the lowest. This statistic is of great value when you say buy something new on Amazon, especially if it is expensive or new to you. Looking at those 2 tells you if low and high ratings are truly rare outliers. You want the top two to be at least 80% while the bottom two under 10-15%.

Thanks. I checked the "Bonus Behind the Scenes" section @ mid day and did not find it, but just checked there again and did find it. David must have been really impressed by this scene as he paid them $1300 and that is the highest he has paid in a long time!

Very good point. I both watched this scene and checked the early ratings yesterday morning at a time when Saturday scenes are usually not yet released, so perhaps the negative reviews dominated the fewer earlier reviews. Perhaps I read too much into that.

Good point, I checked so early that its possible that the low rating I saw was the first and only one!

I began as a stats and climate man (stats of weather for the uninformed). Back in the 60's my Masters research traced the global warming in of all places NY Central Park way before it became a public topic. Mike that should interest you Mr. NY.

I watched the before the scene as I do with all BTS episodes. In all honesty, neither guy really floats my boat. And as Sterling proclaims that he is straight and all about the pussy, I kept thinking about the Shakespearean line, “The lady doth protest too much, methinks".

To all fans of these two guys, I hope you enjoy the scene but I plan to sit this one out.

Which is why we members must encourage all sorts of people to not only join Broke Straight Boys but become active members of the Forum. For a personal example , e rimming is an important part of a scene for me. Now you get the argument that straights are not into it. I counter, have you not heard of anal toys & women who use didoes on their partners

I can not help but wonder in making these pictures, what the players are thinking as they go through what of course is a staged presentation even when you are dealing with gay players who might even be lovers. Us oldies have the time to think about this. How ironic, when you are in your productive years you may have little or no time to have such thoughts but when you get old you have the luxury to do so!

When David first mentioned that people were either going to either love or hate the scene based on their interest in changing things up with something different like Dildo play, I thought that he was over emphasizing that aspect. I can only speak for myself, but what turns me on are hot guys who I am attracted to. Of course it is totally subjective as to who is hot, but for me it wasn’t the dildoes but rather a lack of being into the these two models. Again porn is probably the most subjective entertainment medium as it is designed to turn us on and aroused but we are all wired differently as to who is hot.
