perhaps a set of standards for scenes shoud be adopted given all of the scenes done over the years...
it seems that the best received scenes include:
fucking of the cokthrobbing pounding sort + kissing + passion/reasonably convincing acting

Kodi is obviously quite popular as is Blake yet they have not been paired for a hot scene...

crappy scenes are those that have no fucking and no kissing and/or tedium / no energy and certainly no reciprocity of fingering or rimming or sucking....both parties should cum and prefarably in mouth or on face or on ass...there have been far too many crappy scenes of late

at times it seems Broke Straight Boys takes its members for granted given the proprensity of late for low quality poorly directed passionless dreck...we in KRU hope the quality will improve markedly and consistently

Fortunately for me, that sentiment about crappy scenes is not shared by all of Broke Straight Boys While you have a right to express such a senttment, please know that there are those of us, who enjoy things pretty much as they are, something for every taste.

Some scenes that get rave reviews on the forum, and in the "voting" system here bore me, and other scenes that I love get the opposite reaction.
As Clay recently told us on the Adam & Carter thread:

I try to please everyone a little. You guys are a tough crowd in your diverse tastes! Love you all, though!

I think that is all we can ask for, as what one person calls "crappy" and "dreck", others love and consider masterpieces. Beauty and our equivalent of "Masterpiece Theatre" on Broke Straight Boys is all in the eyes of the beholder. It is all so subjective.

Yeah, the KRU is back! How is the fraternity doing? I hope now that the semester break is here, you guys will be posting more. I do think some of the scenes were not great, but overall, I'm happy; oh wait...that's my hand in my pants! hehehe

I'm not usually interested in viewing solos or orals, and since I've been a member I've probably only really enjoyed less than a third of the other scenes. But, I admit I'm very picky and precise about my porn likes and dislikes, and I also understand that variety is necessary to give everyone a taste of something good. So, as long as Broke Straight Boys can give me the occasional great scene, which they do, I can overlook scenes that I find less impressive knowing other members are likely enjoying them
