This is one of those times when I rated a video higher as a gift to the models themselves, even though I didn't fall in love with the scene. I gave it a 5 out of support for Ian and my appreciation and support of Spencer. I'm so happy he joined us again! For me though the scene probably rated a low to mid 4. Why? I was so disappointed that after having been gone so long, that we got a cold opening with Spencer's first vid upon returning.

Under the circumstances the scene begged for an intro. Not just picking things up where he left off, like nothing had happened. If the director didn't want to do it, it would have been nice to ask Ian to do it. Ian's not afraid of public peaking. He would have gladly done it. At the very least, a "Welcome back Spencer. How are you? How have you been? What have you been up to?

In spite of whatever might have happened behind the scenes, (if anything)...Spencer's return was bound to be a big deal for his fans. But with the cold opening it was treated like a non event. Not giving him a welcome back and a chance to speak in an intro was a wasted opportunity to allow the fans to rally around one of our own who we had missed. I even felt like it was a slight to Spencer personally to downplay his return as, "Just another day at the office." Maybe this scene was shown out of order and there's at least one other vid where he is recognized and welcomed back.
