I don't have a lot of experience in this matter but I would point out that the sphincter of the anus sometimes requires a fair amount of force to penetrate. There is also more pressure exerted on the tender ridge under the head of the penis upon withdrawing from a tight sphincter. If the topping partner is falling out often and has to keep reinserting himself, then that's just more "wear and tear" so to speak on the head of the penis. I think it may be a bit of both; we used water-based lube and his is small, but thick. And I have only had anal sex with him. We've tried using condoms, but I don't like the feel. Any suggestions on a good condom to try; the ones we have used in the past were too thick and I couldn't feel all his "ridges." Yep, I told you I was "high maintenance."

Beth, please provide more details on the situation. The cock is a pretty determined and a resilient piece as the creator intended it to be. If there is pain when resting, there may be a real problem, and seeing the doctor right away would be good.
