I found that Skyler has done a few bottom and top scenes on another site all around the same time frame, so I believe he is mostly straight just doing this for money like his story said.

So I’ve been trying to think about what I wanted to say, and I don’t want to come across as too critical. This scene was pretty good, but it needed more camera angles and close ups. I noticed in the new College Boy Physicals scene there was an angle I kept waiting for in this scene and didn’t get.



The angle with Skyler on his back was the best when you could see the penetration. The shots weren’t bad, but I felt like it needed more. I needed David or Eddie to slide between Morenos legs and shoot upwards on that doggy style. Also, when the scene ended and faded to black and then into the Broke Straight Boys advertisement, you can tell a huge difference in the filming style and quality. I don’t know if that’s the difference in hiring a third party videographer or doing it yourself. That doesn’t mean you can’t achieve the same results doing it yourself, which is why I felt there should have been more closeups and angles. The Atlanta filming also has darker colors in the room which give it a more intimate feel. This scene has a lot of white in it. The wall is off white, the sheets are white, the table is white, and the room divider is white. The Atlanta scenes have like a dark blue sheet and some walls in the house are like a light or dark gray. I think simple things like that can change the look and feel of a scene. If one of the models shoots a huge load on the sheets, it’s going to be easier and hotter to see if the sheets are a darker color. I know everyone is laughing and making fun of me for bringing this up, and I hesitated to, but I’m just pointing out things that I can see that I think might move things up a bit. I didn’t have an issue with either of the models. I don’t love Skyler’s tattoos, but I found him to be charming and cool and sexy too. I liked Moreno too, although I wish he’d let his hair grow natural. His highlights make the scene look dated.

Lastly, I fast forwarded through every bit of the dialogue in the beginning. We waited a month to see these boys fuck, and I just wasn’t interested any longer in any kind of negotiating or talking. I suggested a while back to continue releasing before scenes the day before. After scenes I can take or leave. But, I think before scenes are cool because they give you something to look forward to the day before.

Please don’t hate me, Broke Straight Boys These are just my opinions. I know this was just the first scene, and we need to be patient, so I’ll wait. xo

I see no reason that Broke Straight Boys would have any problem with your constructive criticisms Jay. It shows that you care and I know that David has always been open to suggestions from the fans. I am very much looking forward to see who will be David’s next pairing, especially after hearing from us after the initial Moreno & Skyler scene was released. I think l that Broke Straight Boys will more interactive with the fans than in recent years.

I think Jay has some great ideas. The before and after is a relatively new thing at Broke Straight Boys Started if I remember right by the full Axel. When Axel Green arrived. Lol

Anyway if they are going to continue the Long periods between scenes. Jay’s idea for the before scenes really make lots of since and David could put much of the interview portion there. Maybe a little suspense in who is getting fucked but I think members have come to enjoy and expect these scenes. The after isn’t as important. But I do like it when a virgin gets fucked. I can’t hear enough under those circumstances.

You make some good technical points. That pic you included from College Boy Physicals was a great camera angle to best see the penetration.

Thank you for filling us in on that David. I tend to agree that the audience nowadays for gay porn, even among straight gay for pay fetishists (as I consider myself to be one) has become more jaded and spoiled than in the past. I feel the same way.

I can appreciate that the premise of the site is straight guys, who I would not expect to always be enthusiastic about having sex with another guy. However, that enthusiasm is by no means mutually exclusive with identifying as straight. It would be nice for some scenes to have the models (or at least one of them) not looking like they’re about to go through dental surgery. And I worry that putting a big emphasis on being “believably” straight will mean to a lot of the new models that they need to pretend to be put out or dis-engaged, even if they aren’t. I will add, this is more of a reflection on Broke Straight Boys-1 scenes, the style in which these new scenes are being filmed. Obviously, with only 3 new scenes from David, it is too early to make a solid judgement. Especially because those scenes were filmed and released under pressure. I’m still open minded, but I’m not going to lie about my feelings toward a scene.

It’s always an essay with me. My last thought, because apparently I haven’t run off at the keyboard enough; I keep seeing this idea that if you aren’t into Broke Straight Boys-1 you must be looking for hot guys having enthusiastic gay sex. I can say for myself, I’m not. I came here to see guys pushing their boundaries, exploring sexual acts they have little to no experience with, and that often make them uncomfortable. But exploring those acts with intention, and, at least, a desire to make a good scene. Not as if they’re being forced under duress.

Yeah. I shudder to think of any underage kids who might wander into there by accident or pure bad luck. I would hate to think that anybody would see that site as a first introduction into what American gay culture (or gay porn) is supposedly like.
