I filmed Moreno a few weeks prior to filming Broke Straight Boys scenes. When Moreno applied, I knew he was gay4pay and would fit into the Broke Straight Boys type of model. However, we were still hashing out the protocols for filming Broke Straight Boys and College Boy Physicals during this virus. In normal times, Moreno would have been hired just to film Broke Straight Boys or got his start first on Broke Straight Boys But because we had to film and keep up with the updates, and keep Moreno interested in filming and keeping him in our talent pool and he really needed the money, I got him started on College Boy Physicals so he doesn't go off to another studio and film.

One of the major issues when hiring a model is that models are not waiting for studios, if a model applies to a studio, and because of the money, they go to the studio that offers them work and the sooner the models gets work and makes money, that is the studio they are going to start off with first. There is no loyalty when it comes to models these days. Back in the older days, a model would be a lot more loyal, but today...they go were there is work offered to them and make the most so when I had Moreno applying, I had to jump on it and get him in the doors to get him started before he goes off to another studio and decided not to work with our studio.

Moreno is not very keen on sucking dick or touching another guys dick so I did my best to film him for College Boy Physicals and work around his needs. On College Boy Physicals Moreno has one more scene which he fucks the other boy.

On Broke Straight Boys, he is paired up with Skyler. Skyler is another new model. He never filmed before...he is fresh and he also has a great back story why he is filming. When I hired Skyler, I already knew I was going to be filming Broke Straight Boys so I contacted Moreno because I knew he would be perfect for Broke Straight Boys I wasn't sure if Skyler would be good or not. Although you guys brought up the issue that you've seen Moreno getting his dick sucked so it doesn't make sense for him to do a solo. the first scene is a duo solo were I have both boys together. The scene isn't really to introduce Moreno since I already knew he was going to appear on College Boy Physicals it was about introducing both Moreno and Skyler together. You are not alone and while I don’t know many of the old members I’ve heard of a few who are ready to come back.

I’m working on a few. I am still friends with a few who left when David stopped filming and now are interested in returning. Time will tell how it all plays out but it is fun for me anticipating on Broke Straight Boys again, (besides when I knew an Ethan Steele scene was coming up, lol).

There are two former forumites who told me that they are rejoining soon and I am still working on others. Once David gets a bunch of new scenes filmed and hopefully Mark can ramp up the release dates, I think it would be wise of Broke Straight Boys to do an advertising campaign that the original "voice" of Broke Straight Boys is back with hot new straight guys! There are so many old time members I know of who left as they felt that the site seemed to have lost it's focus.

Just throwing my two cents in as a brand new member. This will be a giant brain dump, so

TL;DR - I'm really excited to see new things happening on the sight, but I really hope that doesn't mean saying goodbye to some of the current models I love, like Calhoun, Jos Alvarez A. and James D. as well as others.

Long Version:

Having looked over many of the Broke Straight Boys-1 videos, while I found some of them hot, most did not do it for me. I love a nervous first timer scene (my favorite are first time bottoms paired with experienced, supportive tops) but the guys in those early scenes, tops and bottoms, were often so aggressively not into it. At best they were just really matter-of-fact, almost robotic. At worse, it's two guys trying to fuck while touching each as little as physically possible then getting as far away from each other as they can at the end. Or a top treating a first time/inexperienced bottom like crap.

Thanks for the explanatory email which makes a lot of sense. The interplay between filming both College Boy Physicals and Broke Straight Boys with the caronavirus impact on filming together tend to complicate things.

When we film...we give different scenarios although BSB1.0 was nice, we are now in 2020 so things will change but keep the classic BSB1.0 concept...its just a matter of tweaking production.

As one of those new members, I will say I’m excited to see what happens, but I definitely don’t want things to go 100% back to Broke Straight Boys-1 or even 2, where it really just seemed like the guys punched a card as they walked into the studio. I know that “I’m here, let’s get this over with so I can get money,” vibe is really appealing to a lot of members, but it leaves me pretty cold.

I will also say, I hope some of the current models, like Jos Alvarez, Calhoun, Ryan and others will be coming back. I know that’s not entirely up to the producers due to Covid and those models possibly moving on to other agencies or quitting porn altogether. I just hope they’ll be invited back rather than discarded in favor of a Broke Straight Boys-1/2 unenthused straight guy aesthetic.
