David has discussed this on several other threads here marky7. I think we have to give it time to judge his new scenes as with the COVID testing with limitations and precautions necessary to film, it will be a slow roll out of new models and scenes. I believe that one of his first models is a guy who has already appeared on David's other site, College Boy Physicals. Mark still has several of Sha's scenes not yet released and so hopefully David will do more filming and eventually we will see some "Classic Broke Straight Boys" with David working his magic on some really cute straight boys expanding their limits for cash, as in the glorious past. I'm here for the long run and optimistic for the future as well! 
I just watched the youtube video as well. I just wanted to post my thoughts about this change. I am not opposed at all for change, especially during these times when there is a pandemic and people don't want to risk filming. It's actually understandable that people just want to do be extra careful. I also realize there are members that have been here a long time and even since the beginning. However, there are some of us who haven't been here since the beginning, and in fact have only been here a few years. I NEVER asked or wanted Broke Straight Boys to go back to the original concept of the site. Of course I am going to give it a chance, but I got the impression from the youtube video that most members wanted original Broke Straight Boys 1.0. I can't speak for anyone else, but all I've ever wanted was straighter non experienced models and more diversity and yes, I am talking about black models. We have gone from 3 updates a week to 2 updates a week and now 1. I am not particularly excited about waiting an entire week to see a jack off scene. I don't necessarily want to see an oral only scene either. We had oral only scenes with this last group of models and they weren't popular. Don't get me wrong, I'm not shitting on the idea of David coming back and filming scenes and of course I'm going to give it a chance, but I think most people just want some good, straight fucking. I applaud Broke Straight Boys for offering these extra scenes for 100 days of summer, but next month it will end. Is the site going back to 3 updates a week or 2? Because I just can't handle "baby step" videos once a week.

I think you will be pleased with D&E. David is very good at finding the straight models and some of the ones he has found that we will be filming coming up look great.
Yes the 100 days of summer is coming to an end soon BUT that doesn't mean we don't have anything else planned. We are working through this pandemic as best we can so thanks for your patience and understanding.

Hi Jaybifla...You are very much entitled to your opinion and I don't think you will get any slack from your post and I for one welcome your feedback. Let me give you some of my history. I started my production studio in 2001 but it really took off in 2002. Back then we mostly filmed and produced VHS videos and the internet was very new and raw and very slow, so VHS was still all the rage.
Once the internet came about and it got faster, adult websites starting popping up. Most of us at that time were very new to the game and technology. I think in 2004, I meet Mark at a porn convention here in South Florida and at the time (correct me if I am wrong) he had a site called straightboysjerkoff.com. It was the early, early stages of what Broke Straight Boys was going to be.
After that meeting, I guess Mark asked around and I believe that Eddie and I (D&E) was highly recommended. Mark contacted me and told me that he had a site called Broke Straight Boys and it wasn't live and needed someone to film for the site. I gave him my ideas and thoughts, he also gave me some pointers what he was looking for and Mark gave me the job and start filming for him. I filmed a total of 4 scenes, sent him the footage and I guess he loved it and told us to continue filming.
I have to admit, I had no clue what I was doing, I never spoke behind a camera before but for some crazy reason...filming Broke Straight Boys became something that really came natural to me and I got into my groove. The site wasn't live and it was being built, I had a chance to see it before it went live and I knew right then and there, Broke Straight Boys was going to be a huge hit...and it was and I continued to film it for many years thereafter.
Because the site became such a huge it, I didn't realize it...I was in my own "bubble" filming. My whole life was filming Broke Straight Boys and was my main objective and it was a crazy and wild ride with the models coming and going and the relationship that we built with many of the models which to this day, we keep in touch with them. Broke Straight Boys became a huge hit and super popular to the point, when I went to my local supermarket, or going on vacation, many recognized my voice. They started recognizing the models...we would go the mall and strangers would walk up to us and want our autograph and for them, they just met there heroes...at porn conventions, we would walk and here chatter, "that is the guy that films Broke Straight Boys"..."those are the Broke Straight Boys guys"...and then all the conservatory began and the debates...where they straight? where they gay??? Back then this forum started and again all hell broke out...we had major debates back and fourth and as the members of that time period got to know "the voice behind the camera" and we did Broke Straight Boys parties, eventually those members started following me. Not one member, but 100's of guys followed me even up to this day.
Then in 2010, Mark wanted to take Broke Straight Boys into another direction. Although it was a hard pill to swallow for both Eddie and I, I now understand that changes needed to be made to Broke Straight Boys because even when I filmed it, it was getting boring and the same ole same ole scenes so Broke Straight Boys needed to have a new rejuvenation sort to say. Once that happen the 100's of guys that followed me got very angry with Mark and the Broke Straight Boys team. I got so much emails and instant messages from them with lots of support that many actually cancelled there memberships, some never came back and some refuse to come back while others did come back, joined the site...but it wasn't the same so they again cancelled. As Broke Straight Boys was going into a new direction, behind the scenes...the group of guys that followed me really voiced there honest opinions about Broke Straight Boys and the site. I have to admit, many of them were right but it was not my choices and decisions.
I am not knocking any people that filmed Broke Straight Boys after my tenure. I think the site has changed, many new members have joined the site..I am not sure if the new members like the current site or not...but based on the feedback I get, many are not happy with the current models and the storylines. Again, this is no fault of anyone's and believe me, hiring models, filming models and now with the virus...its super challenging.
Filming Broke Straight Boys or any adult website has changed. Models have changed and now with this virus we have to change again. We are not immune to this virus and just like any business, or schools, colleges..and such we have to change and yes...its going to be a bit slower approach because of the virus....I can say that most of us, you guys the members and us being the crew can't wait for this virus to go away.
But what I can do and bring to Broke Straight Boys, is what I know best and what I hope that works is going back to basics. Am I going to get haters, I know I will get haters and I am going to get others that love it and are very happy that I am back filming again.
What I will bring is new fresh hot models (which I am working on now) that are believably straight and have very limited gay sex experience. Don't expect these guys to eat ass, kiss, suck cock like a pro and fuck like a porn star and also you will not really see them on other sites. I know once I start filming, this forum will start popping again with debates with new members and old members alike. Life will come back to this forum.
As for today, I have a lot of models applying and that I am interviewing. Even some models that were actually gay4pay and appeared on College Boy Physicals.com site may appear now on Broke Straight Boys, but there will be a lot of new models and a lot of new fresh faces and new storylines and models to get to know and know there back story to what brought them to Broke Straight Boys in the first place.
What I can't tell you is what the future is going to be. Is Mark going to start update the site 3X a week??? I don't know. Is he going to update the site 2X a week. Are they going to have the best of both worlds and switch off from what Shannon films to what we film and do a mix. But what I like to see is not let the current popular models disappear. I think if there are models that you guys really enjoy watching should stay around, perhaps Shannon will film them or we may film them...that I don't know.
But lets take this slow. Give Mark and his team a chance...they are and we are working very hard. Each day all hours of day is a challenge that we have never experienced before. We are all making the best effort to make sure your stay on Broke Straight Boys and College Boy Physicals and College Dudes sites are enjoyable, especially under these trying times.

I don’t have a problem with anything you just said. I already said I was going to give you a chance, and I sincerely mean that. You do, however, lose me when you say “don’t expect to see these models eat ass, kiss, etc.” I don’t expect certain things, but do you guys even read the scene threads and see what most members want to see? I don’t expect to see every model bottom, but I do expect a certain amount of action, and I think most members expect the same, or I’m just bored. Did either of you really read my post or did you just get frustrated because I had concerns. Again, I will certainly give anything a chance. But why do I even bother stating my opinion anyway. As I asked before, do you guys even read the comments on the individual scenes? Just seems like you make decisions because you think you know what’s best without even asking the consumer what they want.
Yes..I did read your post and all the other posts that other members do post so I am pretty much on top of the forum. I totally respect what you write and please don't think I am attacking you. Perhaps I interpreted your post differently, but I just wanted to give you my history and perhaps other members would like to read my history with Broke Straight Boys since many of the newer members may not have a clue who I am.
All of us behind the scenes do read the posts and we do our best to try to cater to everyone that is a member of the site and we do listen but I don't have all the answers and solutions.
I am a relative newbie here when compared to many of you. The attraction I had to this site was simple. Straight guys, doing different stuff with other guys. I have no clue why I have the attraction to straight guys, other than effeminate men are a sexual turnoff for me. A hot masculine guy, gay or straight, is what I like to see. I have watched many scene's that are still on this site and some I liked and some I didn't. Kind of like now. If they were all like Logan, I would be a happy camper. There are pro's and con's for both the old and the new. I, for one will hold off making judgement until I see what this site is going. I think Mark has done a excellent job with the current site in its maturation as did David in his. Bless you guys for always trying to satisfy everyone. Its as diverse as this forum and everyone's opinions. Keeping us informed as we tip toe thru the tulips is most appreciated. I agree and I really think we have to wait until David can hire a bunch oh his kind of models to appear on the site. We really do need to go back to straight guys as the focus here. That is what made Broke Straight Boys successful in the first place and I trust David as much as anyone in the industry to getting Broke Straight Boys back on track, but it will take a little time, particularly in today’s environment with the virus still rampant in our country. Slow and steady is the pace I am hoping to see.

David, I am a huge fan of the early days of Broke Straight Boys I love the boys that were experiencing their first male on male experience, and if it wasn't in some cases you believed it was. I would prefer to see new guys and not your established models who are jumping from studio to studio (except for James because he can jump anywhere he wants as long as he stays at Broke Straight Boys). The one thing I really don't want to see is the scenes getting bogged down with so many oral scenes. It may just be me but they are boring as sin and a waste of a good update. I loved the old way of paying the guys to push their limits and when you were truly pushing them.
I hope Broke Straight Boys Hybrid is a positive step to giving everyone a little bit of what they like. Keep the scenes in order of shooting, that goes for College Boy Physicals as well, and life will be beautiful. BTW if you can bring back others like Austin Grant every now and then that would be hot as well. I suggest Jason Matthews as your first guy, I'm just saying!!!! I’m all for the Broke Straight Boys reboot but I agree with what you say about the orals. Especially since the scenes are so far apart. I’d we were still at 3 scenes a week it might work but 10 days between a jerk off and an oral is going to be hard to keep many new members interested when the models fuck pretty fast now days. It’s going to be a bit of a balancing act and I think because of the virus and probably lower membership numbers all around it may be a challenge. But I for one am excited and hoping for the best.

I believe the site is in very desperate need of an injection of young, believable & attractive straight guys. I think with the direction the site took & has taken over the last few years has caused us all to become so used to seeing primarily gay guys on this site, having full sex with each other. And that's OK, but the essence of what made this site great originally, and what made it so appealing was getting to see legitimate straight guys, genuinely trying out guy on guy action for the very first time. That was this sites point of difference. There are a thousand gay porn sites offering you gay guys having gay sex, and that is great, but the uniqueness of this site originally, was special.
It is going to be difficult though. With the amount of new scenes being released reducing, and the time between scenes increasing, it would be hard to go 7-10 days between a jerk off scene & an oral scene. So i think the key will be finding the right balance. There will always be legitimately gay models on this site, but the hope is that there can be some legitimate straight models on here as well. And once the world starts returning to normal, i think 3 scenes a week could work. You can still have a new hardcore scene released each week. You could also have an oral scene between two real straight guys, or maybe one straight guy & one gay guy. I would love watching a believable straight guy work his way through the stages of gay intercourse with a gay guy. I think there's the potential for great variety if we can find that balance between straight and gay again, and not just gay models in every scene.
Unfortunately the pandemic makes everything so difficult, so there will be frustrations from members for quite a while i imagine. To me Ethan Steel is the current prototype for what this site should strive to look for. David Adamson is famous for hunting out the real gay for pay straight guys. I’m very hopeful. In the last few years Broke Straight Boys has used mostly agency supplied models and its hard to get the real thing that way. I agree the time between scenes is a problem. Hopefully things will improve with virus situation and the business situation and they can get back to the three scenes a week. You are so right about the dilemma, real straight boys are not going to jump right into anal or at least it’s not going to go along with most of our fantasies and most of the newer members here are used to the gay boys fucking. They haven’t even tried to pretend for a long time. But watching a jerk off then an oral then maybe an anal spread over a month is going to be a hard sell. Hopefully they come up with a solution before they loose too many members.

Again Rep, I do totally agree and I think there is a market for Broke Straight Boys-1 type of porn, upgraded of course se by today’s technology with high def cameras which David today uses on his other current sites.
And I agree that we need more than one update a week for David’s style to attract a new audience. Mix up the boys and have content showing newbies with more experienced guys for a variety of types of scenes.

It is a pandemic but we are hoping to supply our members with a fair amount of scenes. We have always given you the best amount of scenes that we can and will continue to. Just because we have updates once a week right now doesn't mean anything. We had to do that because we weren't shooting anything at all. Now that we are shooting we have more options and we are going to try to build up scenes in the can so we can have a better release schedule. Have some faith.
That is exciting news! Many of us do have faith. I hope the members who don’t pay that much attention and read the forum understand as well.

As I keep saying, I am here for the long run.. I’ve been a continuous member since 2008. I have faith in better content on the site and in a more regular schedule of releases of new product as David can film and build up inventory. Thanks for your comments Mark.
Hi everyone...just a quick update...in the past several days I have been swamped with models that will really fit the bill for Broke Straight Boys site. New fresh face models that are believably straight. Most of them are first timers and I am building up production.
We also decided that you guys have brought up a great concern about the solos...yes..I agree, if the site updates 3X per week, then having the solo is not a problem..but now with once a week updates...I can certainly see why there is a concern about doing a solo and then waiting a week for the oral and then the anal scene.

As I am filming more Broke Straight Boys scenes, I am not doing the solos...its starting out with oral and then anal. Do keep in mind, most of the guys I do hire are VERY new to filming and VERY new to having sex with guys (which I know can be debatable) so I have to go slower with these types of guys.
