OMG. That's terrible Johnny. I was very surprised when I met first Peter from Seattle and then you from San Francisco when you both told me that people do not have home air conditioners in your two cities as it is usually not that hot. Not being able to turn on the air seems like cruel and unusual punishment on days like this.

I checked the weather forecast for your city Johnny.

At least the Bay area is a bit better than inland, but maybe you should head for the coast!.

We San Franciscans are Very Spoiled. When I left work today and walked outside I thought Holy Fucking Shit. It IS Hot.
Now I know a lot of you get much hotter along with snow and other season changes. But here its always between 65 and 75 which is
ideal. Always a light sweater or pullover are plenty. The fog comes in and covers the City like a Beautiful Blanket. Gets cold enough for a pretty stylish Jackets.. But hardly ever that cold. People wear shorts here at 72 and the parks are full of sunbathers.
80 is fun. We can tolerate that.
But I took the bus home and people were not happy. No one has air conditioners. We really don't need them. But I will tell you two more days of heat.
And Old ladies will be beating each other up.lol..Ya we are Very Spoiled here in the most Beautiful City in the World..
And that is All every local news stations are talking about.We Forgot Trump. Texas..Everything. its the weather here. lol ..Very Spoiled we San Franciscans. xo

Wow, it's really hot!

I think the weather in San Francisco is similar to the weather in Brazil. t's never very cold here... Well, it is cold for us when we have temperatures about 57º. But that is the coldest it gets here. Once we had 39º and people died because we are not used to it and not prepared for that. Nobody in Brazil has heating systems on their houses/apartments. We have never seen snow here.

I live in the coast of São Paulo and here 106º is our usual Summer. Some people have air conditioners, but it's something pretty expensive here, so it's not for everybody.

The hot weather usually makes people irritated, but I like it better than I like cold. Although many Brazilians are super curious and excited about seeing snow, I am definitely one of them.

Ain't it the truth. Down at Civic Center it was 100 and in the Castro it was around 102 for the high. The official high for the City was 106. By my house up on the hill by McLaren Park above Vis Valley it was a cool 98. The last time it hit 103 it was June 2000. SF because of its hills and general layout is only roughly 7 mile by 7 miles but is full of micro-climates. It can be 75 by my house and sunny and 5 miles away in the Sunset it will be foggy and 60.

But we are spoiled. It usually is in the high 60s and low 70s in the summer for a high and the lows in the high 50s. Winter is around 10 degrees lower for the high and low. We are spoiled. My winter coat is a hoodie and I have been known to be walking around in shorts in November. My neighbor works for FedX and he wears shorts all year round. We never really lose tans and on sunny days we pack the parks and sit around smoking pot and engaging on a little sport of one sort or another. My favorite sport is ogling the guys.

We do not have air conditioners but I have two large fans and I open the windows for a good cross breeze.

Supposed to be hotter tomorrow.

Some times I feel I tend to go a little overboard with my posts. You know. A bit of a Drama Queen. So it is nice to be validated.
I sometimes get people that say..OH John. You do carry on. lol
But not this time. I spoke the whole truth and nothing but. I have spent a lot of time in Palm Springs.
It gets real hot there. But there we jump in the pool and everyone has air conditioning.Sleeping last night was a bit of a chore.
Didn't think I would be able to..I did, Just a sheet.
People that live this way must think.What a sissy. Gonna be as hot or hotter today. And I work in a beauty shop with good
old fashion hair dryers. Not thrilled to be going to work. But one thing I know. In a day or two the Beautiful fog will come in.
And it really is a Beautiful sight to behold.
And it will be done. 7 am turn on the news. LOL there is no other news. 83 and going up. Thanks for letting me go on.
In a couple of days I will be bitching about the cold. But that is life in the Gay Capital and the most Beautiful City in the World.

Absolutely incredible! During a break from our own travails, we were discussing the heat in your area and up the entire Northeast Coast! We had made contact with family members residing in Lucerne Valley, who are also affected by this. However, it is not that much of an unusual occurrence for them as it is for Northern California and the Bay Area.

Hope the heat breaks soon for you, Johnny and juanjo and peter up in Seattle.

Good Morning everyone. Hope You all slept well. Went to bed last night about 11 pm..ALONE..SAD. All my screens in my windows. It was 83 then.
I am very blessed. I live in a great building built in the 30s. I have 13 windows in a one bedroom apartment. . Lot of Windex.lol
I can sit in my living room turn my head to the left and see the Beautiful Golden Gate Bridge turn to the right and see our Beautiful Bay Bridge.
OH..I live in a corner so from the minute the sun comes up until the minute it go's down the sun blast into my windows. I am on the 6th floor.
Right at the top of Beautiful trees. About 4 am I woke to a wonderful breeze. It felt great. So I had to remove a few of the screens and close a few of the windows.
Going to be in the 80s today a thirty degree drop. And it feels wonderful. So for all of You that have to deal with the heat.
More power too You. Don't think I could do it on a daily basses. So thank You all for letting me vent. It was very unusual for us. 106 the hottest day on record for San Francisco.. So yes Thank You. Like I said it was really something for us. YES we are Very spoiled Here in San Francisco.The Most Beautiful City in the World. xoxo
