The blogs are reporting that Dimitri Kane passed away last weekend from an accidental drug overdose. He did 6 scenes for College Dudes. Such a handsome man.

Dimitri was truly a great young man. College Dudes filmed him during our last round of shoots and the director reported that Dimitri was in great spirits and was super positive about his recovery and rehab. Details of his death are to be determined. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him, his friends and family. He will be be missed greatly.

death hastened through legitimate human choices...perhaps the overdose was the CHOICE he made as he was simply weary of living on this plane...too often in the US there is a doltish belief that everybody wants to live by choices and values someone else has pre-determined are correct...choosing death over life is a legitimate option in a truly free respectful society that upholds human dignity....

Tragic - and so sad to see a young snuffed so early and with a bright future! I am mindful of the paraphrase of Ecclesiastes called a parable of two Ships. It is so appropriate here!
