And I'd like to add that after a certain age (it varies) yes, it's a shame that someone had a terrible childhood but eventually you are responsible for how you're reacting to it. I was abused as a child (details not important or pleasant) but now if I act certain ways because of it's because I've chosen not to behave better and people can theorize all they want that guys like Sebastian and Taz have had to ocme from equally bad experiences but I think it's equally true that they've chosen not to amend their ways as they've 'matured' out of a deliberate choice not to do so...
Baal thanks for sharing. You bring up a great point. Many of us have come from dysfunctional families and or an abusive childhood or both. We do have a choice to live in the past or in the present. Our life is what me choose to make of it positive or negative the decisions are ultimately ours. Nothing changes if nothing changes. And insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm not sure how minor spousal abuse and assault & battery are as offenses. Too often I think we let the sexy or handsome get away with more than they should because they're 'attractive.' Isn't it strange, when we see women keep going back to the same son-of-a-bitch over and over again and getting black eyes and bruises and concussions and broken bones, we say "I would never let that happen to me. I'd drop that bum like a hot potato." And then we get turned on and say "he seemed like a nice guy to me." Strange, isn't it. I love Jayman's line "insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results." I really think it’s one of the reasons that Logan and Diesal are so damn sexy: they’re good looking and such gentle-men. baal, to paraphrase the Rolling Stones, "It's only rock and roll", I would say that "Broke Straight Boys is only porn". Let's not look at a scene in a porn video and judge a person's character from it. In fact there is a sizeable segment of the population, both gay and straight, into S & M and rough sex, and a larger viewing audience for porn videos of such acts. I am not personally a big fan of fucking at all, but a good looking young straight guy with a "contemptuous attitude", does turn me on. And the rough fucking that you object to, was being filmed by David. If he felt that these guys were going over the line, he could have ceased the scene at any time. But the scenes were fully shot, edited, and put on the website for our viewing pleasure.
The fact that in "real life", he has committed crimes and gone to jail has nothing to do with his performances in the porn videos here on Broke Straight Boys It is like any actor, or sports star, who gets into trouble off screen, or off the field. I don't judge their professional lives based on their personal lives. One is reality, and the other entertainment. After all, it's only porn that we are dealing with here.

There was a movie a few years back in which a group of drug addicts killed a pusher and they justified it by saying, "He was a fucking pusher."

I think what Baal is discussing here is not the filming David did but the request for David to do more. Yes, David allowed the scene to finish and edited it and put it on the site. But when it got too rough, he simply did not invite them back. Perhaps I was too quick to judge Phoenix in a pleasant light since I only saw his video with Jaime. And that was a long time ago. He seemed like a down to earth guy who had made some serious mistakes. I didn't watch his other vid(s) because I didn't like his look. The tattoos are a big turnoff for me. Some guys love the bad boy look. I don't. I try to look past the outer appearance though before trying to judge them too harshly. I did not find his personality in the one vid to be all that offensive. I also never found out if his crimes were violent or just illegal. The difference would matter alot to me. Again maybe I missed something or I'm forgetting something that some of you are privy to. Taz was no angel, to be sure. And he WAS rough. I did not see Taz or Phoenix as sadistic though.
For me personally the most offensive fucking scene I've seen in here came not from Phoenix nor Taz but from Dustin. As in Dustin/Jason. With the very very close runner up being Lane. As in Lane/Jason. The most offensive PERSON I've seen on the site, again is not Phoenix or Taz, but Lane. I'd be afraid to get on the same elevator with him.

You do have a point there Baal. And it was the Jona vid that I had in mind when I said that he WAS rough. Much more so than he needed to be. I wouldn't want to have sex with Taz or Phoenix. I wouldn't trust either one of them. A few months ago, David filled us in on Phoenix. He's a bully. Jail suits him. I don't want to see those guys on Broke Straight Boys again.

I agree elyot, that one must consider what his partner was into, and Jason does seem to be a "glutton for punishment". There are no rapes or sexual assaults on Broke Straight Boys, as this is a controlled situation where David and his crew are in the room, directing the video. At any time, the model can say stop, or David can say the same thing, and the "assault" will stop. Like I said before, this is only porn. We should not confuse what we see on video or film with who the actors or models are in real life. Sometimes we can get a clue as to their true personalities, but it is not an accurate barometer.

I come from a dysfuntional family, dealt with abuse, also sexual abuse, to get lost in drugs and booze and the rest of the package that came with. i had to change and also learned to forgive the others, most of all myself. So, Taz and Pheoniz need to clean their own house and grow up.
Watching Caleb and Scott,was good, caleb is a powerful but I like the way he entered Scoot and the consistantancy of it.
As for Jason, he has shown on different sites, that he likes it on the rough side and is good at it.

What screen name does Jason use? What sites? I have not seen him on other sites. I'd be interested in seeing him. I hate watching Dustin and cant hardly stand to see him in anything so I'm very understanding of what was said in this thread.
