Well again you seem to speak for the majority and he has not lost his lustre with me.
Jon, I totally understand that he has not lost any of his luster with you, but I am speaking from reading all the comments on the forum regarding his scenes, and there seem to be more negative than positive responses about his scenes

And I know of what you speak, as you were "on vacation" during the launch of BSB2, when Jimmy Johnson became the new face of Broke Straight Boys, when the vast majority of posters on the forum were negative towards the handsome, sweet man who called me "his dawg". Jimmy did not lose his luster with me, but I could see that the majority was not on board with me either.

Well Mike, as far as I can see the 5 Kodi scenes in the top 12 or so speak volumes of the larger Broke Straight Boys membership. The forum is such a small minority that it is not surprising that our voices hardly get listened to (enter Stowie1).

Exactly my point Jon. That is why when forumites "yell and scream" that they are not listening to us, I think that they don't really have to, as we do not necessarily represent majority opinion's of the overall membership.

This doesn't diminish the forum in any way for it is lot's of fun for us here to discuss, dissect, praise or rip the models, scenes, management and even each other on occasion, but as a big fan of this site, I think that the forum is a great outlet to discuss these matters.

And when Mark or Clay or the models come on here to chat with us, it is an added bonus to my way of thinking.

I haven't seen the Kodi/Mitch scene but maybe Kodi and Mitch watch it all the time and have their friends watch it to to boost the ratings. Or they have a couple of fans with OCD? Just kidding. LOL.

I will be honest the Kodi Mitch scene is one of favs but not because of it feeling like a straight guy fucking scene. It had a very gay boy vibe coming from it and anyone that thinks Mitch is straight is a moron. Even with that being said it had very good fucking and dirty talking and that turns me on. On a positive note one of my favs scenes every the Kodi/Liam scene is on the homepage now and that scene always gets me going. Sorry for the rant.

If Mitch and Kodi both went to the video page and downloaded it 20 times a day for a few months...maybe that would explain it. LOL I can't figure that one out either. And I'm a Kodi fan.

There is a segment of the Broke Straight Boys membership I'm sure, who could care less whether the models are straight. And Mitch does give off that very strong gay twink vibe. So if you're into the "barely legal" gay twink genre I can see why you would land there. The straightness factor is still pretty important to me here on Broke Straight Boys If I want to see gay on gay action there are plenty of other places to go online for that.

The top ten videos is a formula based on hits plus ratings. However, and I just noticed this, that even though the formula is automatic, it needs to be manually run to update the homepage. I believe that manual operation might have fallen through the regular maintenance crack, but I just updated it, and I also have made sure it is something that will get updated much more frequently.

Clay,

I think the way Ratings are done is not realistic. You are combining two different elements into determining a rating. One element, the voting is limited to one vote per person. PERIOD! One is based on each hit a video takes. Like someone else has mentioned, what if one person just wants to keep hitting a specific video just to get a higher rating? Is that fair? Is it the true rating of the video? Of the top 12 currently on display, 4 of them rate under 4.5, with two others at 4.5. I use 4.5 as a cut-off as that would represent a 90% which in my book is an "A". I checked the rating for every single episode produced. (I guess I was bored.) I was looking for those episodes rated 4.5 or higher, NOT COUNTING THE ONES IN THE TOP 12. Assuming I did not miss one, there were 11 episodes rated 4.5, 9 rated 4.6 and 2 rated 4.7. How can they not be in the top 12 (which would mean all of those 12 would rate 4.6 or higher)?

The solution to this is really quite simple. You should just go by each members rating of the episode. EVERY MEMBER HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO WATCH EACH AND EVERY VIDEO AND TO VOTE ON EACH AND EVERY VIDEO. One man (or women) one vote. It is logical, fair and can't be influenced by any individual(s). Keep in mind you need not be a member of the forum to vote. If you can view the site, you can vote for that video. If I'm wrong Clay, let us know.

If you feel there is a need for ratings by hits, perhaps you can have a thread or column that list the top twelve episodes by hits. Then everyone can be happy.

How do the rest of you feel about this??????

Not sure if it makes a difference, but WebMonkey once said the 'hit factor' took into account the length of time a scene is watched to help eliminate people continuing to hit on a scene in an attempt to drive up the rating...
