R.I.P Mary Tyler Moore....

For you kids that didn't know her. She REALLY could turn the World on with her Smile.R.I.P..Mar....:smiley-love021:

I will certainly miss her. Her show, and a few others of that era, are true classics. She also set a great example for those suffering from Type 1 Diabetes, which contributed greatly to her ill health.:crying:

I just got home from work and this is the first I'm hearing of this. I became a big fan as she co-starred on one of my all time favorite TV shows as Laura Petrie on the Dick Van Dyke Show, and of course later as Mary Richards. Very sad news indeed.

More than her great acting and dancing skills, more than the great characters she played, and more than the grace of the woman herself, MTM was a symbol of a time and a place. If I was down, a little MTM Show would put me in mind of an earlier age where life didn't suck so much. I'll get that back eventually but for some time seeing even the Chuckles The Clown episode will just make me sad for her loss. At least her pain is gone and she's reunited with her beloved son...
