Questions for management regarding BTS & Christmas

I was wondering if there are any plans for any in depth behind the scenes showing us the new studio and the housing of the models as we used to get quite a bit of when headquarters were in Denver. It definitely humanized the models to watch them being picked up at the airport and seeing their first exposure to the staff and other models, and we got to see their personalities around the dinner table or playing outside together. Broke Straight Boys has always been more than just a porn site and it would be great to get to see some inside stuff again.

I was also wondering if there any plans for a "Christmas Spectacular" this year. We've had some really good one's and then some not so good one's in past years, but with the holidays rolling around real soon, I was curious if we have anything special coming up this year to look forward to.

Why you guys not ask rayn fields back ,he was a verry good bottom and a good top , like to see him with the twins. Why ??

(Question 2 answered) We will not be doing a special BTS this year for Christmas, (Question 1 not answered - no mention of any behind the scenes showing the studio and housing which was the question asked; the "but" clause does not speak to the question asked.)but we will try to do some more BTS videos that are a bit more in depth.

I agree with you 100%, mikey, and hope they do it. But the cynic in me (surprise, surprise - lol !!!) can't help but wonder if there is not much of a house to show, much less a mansion. Also, I'm guessing we've seen most of the studio during the shooting of scenes. Some of the models have intimated that there is some sort of fraternal housing situation - so it would be nice to see it. Doesn't have to be a luxurious mansion for us members to be interested in and enjoy seeing the models in their on-site, off-screen milieu. It would surely make me less "miserable" and I'm guessing Johnny as well - lol !!!

Again, I heartily concur, mikey. Some of them were really fun and enjoyable and again would give us a chance to see the models in a relaxed situation.



Well from the picture posted on this thread from twitter, it seems my wondering about the house might be true. The kitchen shown is hardly anything like the manse in Colorado. And the studio we've probably seen the bulk of that through filming.

I presume chuck and the technical support people are still in Colorado as they were when they were filming in Florida previously. Given the implications given about reduced staffing and lower models fees, in theory in Florida you could have only Mark, sha, and Bryce.

Thanks, Buckeye. And to me that is an even more egregious slap in the face to members of this site. If they are going to post that kind of thing on twitter, facebook, etc. they should simultaneously post it here for the members to see. After all we are the paying members who have a more vested interest in the site than people on those other platform. I can see if they want to use that as advertising, but we members should be given at least equal treatment to that sort of pictorial fun fact and I would argue even first priority since we are paying to keep the site in business.

Totally agree with you. And may I add it seems to me that the people who run this site:
1. Are not keeping up with the likes and dislikes of the members. When they do make a change it is late and half executed,
2. Are not being proactive in the recruitment and the use of their models. Even with money tight they could do better. I know a million ways to cook hamburger. And most of them are very good. They have several very attractive models and all they do is switch with them around with different partners and film the same cookie cutter scenes.
This thread is just about to go away to the archives and won't be read by many people but I wanted to get my 2 cents in.

While I totally understand what you are saying regarding changing it up, models pushing their boundaries etc....I look at a few other points: Models pushing their boundaries as they're comfort level increases. To perform something that is not "natural for you" can be awkward to perform and not always enjoyable to watch! At what point does a model's performance go from "amateur" to professional? Believable to experienced? From a humanistic point of view, who'd enjoy a performance where a model is forced, coerced, intimidated....to perform something which they are not comfortable with doing? And then, be JUDGED on a disappointing performance? These are just things that I wonder about?

I cannot imagine management having to take the time to post something saying, "Hey, check twitter, we just tweeted something you might be interested in checking out." Well, actually they do do that on the sidebar!!! Perhaps some folks just expect to be spoon fed info rather than taking initiative?

First, I'd like to point out that the members homepage is not technically the forum. Having said that, and realizing that you don't care for much of my views and/or how I state them directly with no excess verbiage, I am also the type of person who will admit when he has been too hasty in drawing a conclusion.

To be honest, I rarely look at the "Recent Tweets" (not "Twitter") section of the homepage. When I come on the Members homepage I look at the listing of recent forum threads and go to the forum. Since that is my procedure I did not see the tweets with the pictures. So I will accede that management is keeping membership informed with pictures that it posts on Twitter.

I am not a Twitter person, although I do have an account set up I never use it unless someone points out something to me. So that's why I never look at the "Recent Tweets" section of the Members homepage. As a result I drew a conclusion that was factually incorrect. And for that I apologize to management in the same public way that I took it to task.

Thank you, betu, for pointing out this misstep to me. I will now peruse the "Recent Tweets" section whenever I come on to the homepage.

See my post #30 following your post #29 discussing this matter. And since I brought up this subject, it is logical to conclude that I am included in the "some folks just expect to be spoon fed ..." categorization you noted. Given the professional background you have discussed on the forum, I would think you would know more than most the dangers of many assumptions about people about whom you know nothing.
