I am not meaning to air my laundry, but, for my friends, as well as,those that know me/have met me, I feel compelled in updating. I am an epileptic. Saturday afternoon, while at the grocery store, I had 'felt' an aura, coming on, thus, I called 911, and was taken, by ambulance, to the Hospital. I had bloodwork drawn, and my medicine level was low, (EVEN THOUGH I had been taking it religiously). I called my neighbor to pick me up.

I am quasi back to normal today.

Unfortunately, I am one of those that have tried all medcations, and the combo they have me on now, has been the MOST 'effective', in that, this is the first seizure I have had since moving to Castle Rock, in 6 yrs.

One major (after)thought........

...that crossed my mind, was, the fact that my WHOLE intention of starting this thread was NOT to be selfish....it is/WAS started as a means for EVERYONE to post, in their time of need.....so please ANYONE/EVERYONE who would like 'someone else's 'thoughts prayers' in time of need, (needn't be only tragic, but as a way of saying, "could you keep me in your thoughts....things are going a little rough now?"...if this makes sense?

Fortunately pre-cancerous growths on the face of older peole is quite common and if pre-caucerous are usually temoved with liguid nitrogen. If he id decide to biopsy the probable diagnosis will be an actinic keratosis. Hope for that it's very treatable. The other is a basal cell carcinoma and that is removed with Mohn surgey with a 97-99% cure rate. Others are a possibility but a trained dermatologist wouls easily identify these are cancerous not pre-cancerous. Hope this eases your mind.
