Posting an avatar and profile pic

Can someone tell me in a few short steps as to why a pic in your profile can not be used as your avatar. Ok maybe thw wrong choice of words, but I got a profile pic to load and thought I would use it as my avatar pic and it keeps getting kicked back? Could it be the size? any freindly help would be great.

I'm not sire myself as to why it wouldn't load for you. Especially if it took it already as a profile pic. But the one man who could surely help with that would be Scorpio. He's the whiz kid of technical issues for the forum software. I'd get with him in private. He'll be able to sort it out for you.

It just means the image is to large and that is why it's being kicked back out. Resize it and add it agian.

like BiGurl said, it just means the image is too large. Here are the specs:
Maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).
