Please enough Jimmy

I don't do the message board postings. I read but don't generally post. I am fine with Jimmy overall, not a big fan. But does every other or every third episode HAVE to be with Jimmy. Are there not ANY other guys who are willing to "work" in front of the camera. Why do we have to see the same rotating guys. And if we do cant we please utilize some of the other one too. Seriously I don't like to complain but I hope beyond hope that the Jimmy episodes starts to limit to 1 a month. I see Jimmy is will be in the Oct 31st. I hope next time will be Nov 30th or later. Please and thank you.

I have to agree with you killacam. I'm not against Jimmy, but I too don't understand why HE has to be in every third episode. Where are all the other favorites, the ones on the home page? Where is JAck, Bobby, Mick, Colin, Chad? There are plenty of models now that they could rotate them so we don't have to watch the same ones all the time. What's more, why keep them going at all, if they are not willing to give more? I understand they are straight and may not want to do more, but after a few episodes, say 5, then move on to models who are willing to explore and grow in there performances.It does get boring watching the same old, same old. Variety, please!

I would suppose in some part it is a question of availability. I agree that there is such a thing as over exposure. That said I enjoy watching Jimmy in action and look forward to seeing him in upcoming videos for as long as he is inclined to do them. He is one hot stud puppy

I actually tend to agree. Even though I really like Jimmy and think he's hot and a cool guy, there's only so many times you can watch the same thing: fucking and getting sucked without progressing (reinventing himself). It does get boring watching the same thing over and over again, kind of like listening to a broken record even if it's your favorite song.

this is the third scene with jimmy this month. since this month is ending, i would say 3 scenes are about it.
an average of three scenes with jimmy have gone live every month since april.
the remaining 10 monthly scenes were split among what i call the top five, bobby, darren, jamie, jimmy, and rocco and the new comers like colin, anthony, seth, aj and chad.
i believe that 3 scenes with jimmy out of the 13 scenes that air each month is not too much.
that is my opinion.

In fairness another1, I would take the solo scenes out of the 13 scenes per month equation. If they air one solo every week, that brings it down to 9 action scenes, which put Jimmy in 3 out of 9, or 1/3 (33.33%) of the action scenes each month. Again, I really like Jimmy but I think that a straight guy like him who hates gay sex and is unwilling to progress further sexually is a little overkill when they're putting him in 1/3 of the action scenes.

I have to agree with those who feel he's being overexposed on this one, it is becoming a little too much Jimmy too much of the time in the scenes when we know before it even airs what will be happening in the scene.

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist, but how can we be sure that Coxy did not kidnap Abe's avatar and screen name, and is now posting this under Abe's name?

the solos are how fngs are introduced.
off the top of my head, i can think of 8 solos that i can see in my mind's eye on command.
i wouldn't have wanted to miss any one of them.
here goes: bobby, jack, kevin, anthony, chad, kurt, seth and my favorite from his solo forward, colin.
solos have the function of letting me see guys i may never want to see again, but they also introduce me to guys i hope to see many more times.
i count solos, not to counting them devalues the art form and inflates the results.
i have come to this opinion and firmly believe it is valid.

Oh absolutaly Another1, there are some members who enjoy watching the solos, I wasn't suggesting they take those away by any stretch of the imagination.

I guess I should have rephrased it to say that of the *action* scenes (guy interacting with another guy sexually in the same scene) of late, out of 9 of them Jimmy was in 3 which equals 1/3...or 33.33% of them.

I was only illustrating that I agree there's been too many scenes with Jimmy in them lately. Normally, if you aren't a fan of an actor, it's not a big deal to miss watching a scene that he's in because you can always catch the next one, and hopefully the guy you don't like won't be in another scene for awhile. I was just saying Jimmy has been in so many scenes lately that those who are not fans and don't like watching scenes he's in don't have as many "non Jimmy" scenes to look forward to. In other words, he's being over used in my opinion...even I as a Jimmy fan am starting to get bored with his scenes (although he did a fantastic job in his last scene).

........then we have absolutely no choice, but to write Jimmy a really good letter of recommendation, and install CHAD's name on the biggest dressing room door.

In the spirit of full disclosure especially to anyone who reads this who hasn't read my plethora of posts on the many recent Jimmy-related threads, I am a big fan of Jimmy so the current frequency of his scenes doesn't bother me. Having said that, I also believe that variety is the spice of life, so I wouldn't want a higher rate of frequency. As to how many and when other actors are used I submit the following for your consideration:

1. I would love to have certain actors from BSB1 back on the site. Diesal, Jordan, Zakk, just to name a few. But from what I can glean from reading some old threads, that doesn't seem likely. My impression is that the split between Mark and David was less than amicable and I don't know how that affects any actors who worked for David as to their availability to work for Clay. Perhaps some of you forumites who were around during the ending of BSB1 might be able to shed some light on this.

2. When BSB2 was inaugurated on Apr 2 with Jimmy's solo, the episode was described as BSB2.0 is here/The new face of Broke Straight Boys I never took that literally to mean Jimmy, but just a new direction for the site. But perhaps it was literal. Maybe Jimmy has an exclusive contract. If so, it might guarantee him a certain number of episodes a quarter or a year. If that is the case, then it might explain Jimmy's scene frequency. I am just suggesting this as a reason and not speaking to the objective efficacy of that approach if it is true.

3. In an earlier post on this thread someone mentioned availability of the actors. I'm sure that plays a significant role as well. I'm guessing few of the actors live in close proximity to the filming location. Many may have other jobs and/or responsibilities. Also other things happen in their lives (e.g. Bobby in jail) which can affect their ability to shoot episodes.

I'm sure there are other factors that affect the variety of models available for work. But these just came off the top of my head and I thought I'd throw them out for consideration, comment, correction, etc.

perhaps, models from Broke Straight Boys 1.0 have moved on or stayed with d & e.

Seriously, "art form???". A guy jerking off in a solo is art??? There may be some porn that is vaguely "artistic", but most porn is made to help men (and far fewer women) fantasize and cum. Internet wanking 101. I think if you asked any of the guys on this site if they considered themselves "artists", they'd laugh you out of the room. Porn actors, "models", perform sex acts, some better and hotter than others. True actors, sculptors, painters, authors, etc. create art.

Yeah I'm REALLY tired of Jimmy as well. Since he's not willing to progress I say get rid of him and find other models who will. Nothing personal against him but it's only common sense business wise. BUT this is the site that's wants us to believe Preston, Leon, Zakk, and Mikey were straight. And of course Tyler with his plucked eyebrows was supposed to be straight as well. How many straight guys you know pluck their eyebrows?
