Slut. LolI like a good heart too. But I want that heart to have a big dick.
As much as I love Broke Straight Boys, this site uses the underlying theme of "Broke Straight Boys" generally in lieu of plot, whereas some other sites place much more emphasis on plot. The models in such scenes do need some acting ability to credibly portray their roles in my opinion. You are probably correct that this is less of an issue at Broke Straight BoysGay porn is not show business. In my opinion in most players do not have an ability to act. It is a disservice to most actors to equate the two.
As always, thanks for an informative post from the industry perspective post. Having recently had a colonoscopy, I shutter at your words "the bottoms have to clean out!" I did read Richie West once state that it only rarely happens, but that doing gay porn is at its best when paired with a model he truly finds sexually attractive and if he met on his own would go to bed with. Of course Richie is gay and a gay for pay straight model would probably not have that occasional scene. Although as I believe Mikeyank once observed, any gay for pay straight boy who tops doing 50 scenes or more has to at least be considered bi!br6205. Yes...its sex in the literal sense...they are doing everything that one would do in private (if they are so lucky to do so). However, although this is the "act of sex" its is more of a performance. For example:
Sex in private: Two persons meet up, they have feelings for one another, they get to know each other, they go on a date..perhaps go to a club and dance, or go to a social event and eat in a restaurant together to know each other better. The two person that meet up get to know each other and have an attraction to each other prior to having sex. Once they finally break the "glass" and have sex, there is a bond between the two persons...they have feelings, perhaps love and attraction for each other that makes there sex fun and interesting and within time, they explore each others sexual taste and either there relationship will grow and evolve or they find that they are no longer have any interest in each other and go there separate ways.
Sex in a studio doing porn: The person applies for the work. Has to go through an interview process. Has to be approved by the owners/management of said site. Then there are the logistics of putting a production schedule together and placing the said models together. Once booked, the models are flown into said city to meet up. They get tested for STD and HIV before having sex. At this point everything is coordinated and planned out for each of the models.
Once the models clear, they have sex with each other on camera. As the studio, we play match maker and place the two individuals together regardless if they are attracted to each other or not. We don't care if they are gay, straight or bisexual (we just need to hear there story to find out why they are here doing porn). For some sites like Broke Straight Boys, we just need them to be "believably straight" because we are operating a site called Broke "straight" boys so they have to be broke (which in most cases is not the issue) they have to be at least straight acting (which is challenging) and they have to have a boyish look. As the studio, we have to properly match the models with each other for the theme of the site and what makes the correct business sense. Like a good casting director does for a movie or TV or theater. We have to cast the correct individuals for the theme of the site.
So far its all business, once all the pieces are in place, we film with the hope that these two individuals are comfortable doing what they are told what to do. We just don't turn on the lights and camera and let them loose to do what they want. They have to prepare for the scene (the bottoms have to clean out) then the stress for the players kick in because we plan and give them directions, if they are not comfortable doing something, we have to take that into concern for each model and each scene and go over what they are willing to do. Everything is planned and staged and with nerves, comes the fact they have to take an enhancement for there erection so they can perform.
I know its very hard to believe and grasp, but most male performers need enhancements to get there dicks erect so they can have a proper video shoot and have a good performance. Although they having sex, this type of sex is all staged and planned out. There is no romance involved and its actual work. In most cases, the individuals are not attracted to each other. They are friendly because they are doing something that is out of the ordinary and filming porn is not your normal usual Monday-Friday 9-5 job.
Everything with porn sex is production, set up, and all business and at the end we all get paid for doing it and with a good performance, the individual gets paid for having sex on camera and listening to our direction. So yes...its sex, they all have an orgasm...with the orgasm its enjoyable but its not your normal sex as you can see from the two situations I wrote about.
I hope this gives you more of an insight of what porn sex and real sex is all about. One is for business and one is for privacy and intimacy.
I have said that often and do believe it. Jimmy Johnson, the straightest of straight boys who only topped here, included. As always, thanks for an informative post from the industry perspective post. This is where I really agree with you referencing the Kinsey Scale. Amongst straight boys, there is a difference between the one who would never go out for high school wrestling because he abhors the idea of one male even touching another and the straight gay for pay guy. Yes, they are both straight, but one is a 10 on the Kinsey Scale, but the other is also in the totally straight category but more like a 7, 8 or 9. Same on the gay side, where you can have totally gay guys, but one has 100% same sex attraction, never was attracted to or ever had a heterosexual experience, and another often due to societal pressure went through heterosexual and bisexual phases (sometimes even marrying a woman and having children) before finally determining that he is totally gay. Once again, the first one is a gay 10 on the Kinsey scale, and the second one would up also gay but more of a 7, 8 or 9!Also with a lot of these boys, its self discovery for them. Yes, its about the money but in a deeper sense its about discovering themselves and there sexuality so doing this is a different experience for many of the guys that appear in porn videos.
How about "all of the above?"Me, I am not a size queen but I do like a nice bubblrebutt & ass hole.

There are always outliers in every sample on everything aside from death. In this graph as with most things I fit no where! We agree. The “straight” guys on Broke Straight Boys over the years are not Kinsey 0’s as they wouldn’t and couldn’t do gay porn other than jerk off or maybe receive oral. but probably are in the 1- 2 range. I on the other hand am a true Kinsey 6. Totally & exclusively Gay.

Frankly, I can see a guy trying it once or even twice but when they go beyond that there has to be something in them stirring. It takes a self aware , & confident man to admit this.Even for me at some point when you have a guy filming gay porn here on Broke Straight Boys and going to studio to studio and they keep claiming they are "gay4pay" I even have a difficult time accepting the fact that particular guy is straight, bi or gay4pay....at some point you have to wonder....?
I just think you believe they’re all gay. Lol. Sorry, I don’t mean to offend. You always make reference to body language in scenes. I believe you think they’re all gay because of your own experiences with being gay and married to a woman and having kids. You just assume most of them must be exactly like you.Frankly, I can see a guy trying it once or even twice but when they go beyond that there has to be something in them stirring. There is another interesting thing. Take a guy like Amone, who has evolved to the point he has bottomed online. His body language seemed to indicate he liked it.
Actually,in reality I don't care what the sexuality of the players are as long as they give a convincing performance. Of course if I were in a great relationship I won't need others to thrill me.I just think you believe they’re all gay. Lol. Sorry, I don’t mean to offend. This conversation comes up way too often on this forum. We need to move past obsessing over complete stranger’s sexuality because at the end of the day it really doesn’t matter and none of them are going to sleep with any of us.
Here is the deal with Amone and in his scenes. As he explains it to me and the members when I filmed his most recent scenes and he made perfect sense. Those scenes didn't come out as of yet.Frankly, I can see a guy trying it once or even twice but when they go beyond that there has to be something in them stirring. So when I had a girlfriend and later a wife would you have labelled me as straight? I do not point that out as referring to others, only to say what hold in one case may not in another. One of the main reasons I did a TV show was because at the time a lot of the guys were straight doing gay porn and I thought it was really interesting and people would also think it was interesting. It was the moment the model in 2009 was telling us how he forgot to remove the temporary tattoo on his ass and his girlfriend saw it and he had to come up with some crazy reason why that tattoo was on his ass lol. I can't remember what excuse he used but it was that moment that it popped in my head. I usually gauge how straight the guys are if they have a girlfriend and what they are doing in their personal lives.
Points well taken. But if as in Amone's case it is so painful, why not find another way to earn money. You do agree most guys regardless of their sexual preferences would not do online porn. As it turns out at the present time there are more jobs available than qualified workers. I am just talking about the guys who find it revolting or painful. Here is the deal with Amone and in his scenes. As he explains it to me and the members when I filmed his most recent scenes and he made perfect sense. Those scenes didn't come out as of yet.
When I found out he bottomed for another site, I asked him upfront why he will not bottom for Broke Straight Boys What he explained was that (which I was a bit offended) but that studio he did bottom for, twice thus so far (the 2nd scene of him bottoming hasn't gone out) he bottom because that particular studio promised him "fame" and to promote him as a model and make him very popular and in fact, he recently won an award with that studio for best bottoming scene in a web series for the GayVN Awards they recent had several weeks ago. We filmed him again, after he won the award.
I still didn't understand what made the difference and he told me, that for him to bottom it really hurts and afterwards and feels very sick doing it and he gets stomach pains and it takes him two days to prepare physically and mentally with the scene and to recoup for those scenes. Amone does have a girlfriend and he will tell his story when his scenes will come up on Broke Straight Boys about being straight and doing gay porn.
I even asked him along with the models that were here at the time of filming, we all asked if his girlfriend every played with his ass, which he replied that she did, but he doesn't like it and its something he doesn't do.
Now with your claim that you watch the body language and you believe the "body language" tells the whole story. No, it doesn't because Amone had to take injections into his dick to stay and keep hard for his bottoming scene and off camera he as sniffing a bunch of poppers so with that, it may have looked like he was enjoying it but if you ever took "popper", it changes your body language to make it look as if your enjoying it. And although porn models are not the best actors, they shine when having sex.
Remember the post I place up to remind you that a lot of this was acting...go back to that post and re-read again. Don't believe what you see on the screen as real or try to think its real...ALL porn is not real and a lot of guys that watch a lot of porn can't disgusish porn from real life.
