As we call it on west coast " ball gravy"
I wonder if they mean the same biscuits as the ones that you eat as a sweet snack as I think it is a different kind of meaningHow can you possibly eat biscuits and gravy. Mind you, you do eat jelly and lettuce lol

Let there be no mistake, I use the terms in the most affectionate way when referring to Damien and Paul. The play on words is actually from a couple of movies in which Eddie Murphy starred in; The Nutty Professor and it's sequel "...the Clumps". Since Damien Kyle is a fan of comedy movies like this, he got the meaning. It all started during the Thanksgiving 2013 period when Damien was being introduced as the "Pass around bottom boy" at the time. He had a scene with Brandon Beal (which aired in January 2014) but, it was a scene in which the play on words came into play. From the Nutty Professor, one of the characters described someone as being so good," they wanted to put them on a plate and sop them up with a biscuit". Since both models have such nice body's, there was some word play opportunity there for me using biscuits, buns, and butter. The nickname "Biscuit" stuck! Damien is my "Biscuit". Paul is "Gravy". Believe it or not, if I use Biscuit on FB or Twitter, Damien Kyle gets who it is...that's so cool!
And Johnny LOVES his Gravy. lolThat is cool!! Bisquit loves his Betu....
When I was over the states, we stopped in a breakfast place, I think it was called Denny's. I think it was on highway 5 from Vegas toward San Diego and it was 4am in the morning. Anyway stopped to have breakfast and it was the first time I'd seen creamed beef, over easy eggs and bacon so crisp it broke your teeth lol.
Nickname for creamed beef over toast - shit on a shingle!!
Please keep in mind Jon, that Denny's is not an example of fine American cuisine. In fact Denny's is on the low end of fast food chains in my opinion. I haven't eaten in one in many years and doubt if I ever will again. Next time you're in the states and looking for a cheap breakfast, I would recommend I-Hop over Denny's any day. When I was over the states, we stopped in a breakfast place, I think it was called Denny's. I do like their chicken fried steak breakfast!! Ihop has great pancakes, but their other breakfast stuff here sucks!!!

Jon,
On you way to San Diego on the 5, you passed me by less than 1 KM, and there is a Denny's right off the freeway. The one near me is not so bad and while I don't eat there often, I am well taken care of. But I know some that are not as good. Next time you on this route, let me know and I'll take you out to a real good breakfast!

Dudes, when you're hungry at 4 or 5am then any eats place will do..

That and the fairly reasonable price is what keeps both chains in business. They are both on the low end of the food chain as it were. lol I have eaten at IHOP fairly often only because there was no other option nearby me, at that hour, after my Course in Miracles book club meetings. The service has always been good but the food has always been decent, to passing, to pretty awful.
As for Denny's it's about the same. Depending on what you order the food is decent, to passing, to pretty awful. But you go there to Denny's or IHOP for some combination of convenience of location, price or the fact that it's open 24 hours.
In speaking of low to medium priced American chain restaurants for breakfast in particular, and even lunch or dinner, I think you'll find Bob Evan's serves the most consistently good food. Cracker Barrel also does a pretty good breakfast.
At that hour depending on what has transpired earlier, nothing can beat beer & cold pizza!!
We were all mega hungry plus none of us had heard of Denny's before.. I enjoyed my meal anyway as I didnt take the creamed beef lol Whatever this is off thread to which I apologise.
