Thanks Tampa for reviving this thread. I'm sure most of current membership doesn't remember the models or the great forumites but for me it was very nostalgic.
Yes. The nostalgia was heartwarming for me too to see some of the great forum contributors from the past. As well as some of the pics obviously. haha

Aw ok. I spoke to him just a few weeks ago. He said he is doing well and moved recently so he wouldn't have to drive 7 hours to see his partner. Other than that there was no other update.

Do you ever reminisce with him about star gazing together? He told us here how you guys bonded over astronomy. Next time you talk to him tell him how fondly remembered he still is here. I just checked the highest rated models and he is right at the top of Page 2, ranked #30 all time and he goes back to 2012. What a great guy!
