If your in the market for shows to watch might I recommend Cucumber. A middle aged man breaks up with his fiancée and decides to start a soft core porn business run from a warehouse much to the surprise of many of his friends. It is incredibly well written and features some great dialogue. I haven’t seen it for streaming anywhere, bought my copy from the iTunes Store (but not sure if it’s available in the US store. You may have to buy the DVD.

Before LOGO went to showing all the old sitcoms. It showed a couple of series that you suggested, one was cucumbers, another was bananas. If I remember, they were a mixed couple and the black guy was killed by a homophobic co-worker. Was this the one, your talking about? also both series was related to each other in some form, correct?

Yes both series ran in tandum and bananas was usually about a minor character that appeared in cucumber. So scenes would revolve around lesbian issues, being transgender, just coming out etc etc it gave substance to sometimes throwaway scenes that made you wonder why they were there in the first place. Cucumber as you rightly said did culminate in a black guy being killed by a co worker, but you have to watch the series to understand where this came from. It is a very clever multilayered story that is very relevant to today's society. It's well worth watching.

Thanks Foxyman, I saw the series, it was great, the way the developers of the series wove the different stories. You had to keep up with the stories of each character. To miss sections, it would make it a little difficult to keep up, to the story.
And yes zeroblue, your not alone as a geek/nerd here.:wavey::groovy:
