Hello everyone.
My names Tim and I live in Britain, curious to know if there's any other Brits here. I did have a quick look yo see if there was a thread for new members to introduce themselves, but if there is then its hidden amongst other posts. Maybe make one and pin it to the top of the board?

Since finishing school I've mostly made a living by proofreading and editing friends YouTube videos. The upside of that is I have a lot of free time, the downside of that is pretty much the same - I have a lot of free time on my hands lol. Usually I fill that time with reading and watching movies; so it is very hard to distinguise leisure time from 'work'. I worked out that I was gay when puberty hit and I was interested in guys when all my friends were interested in girls. Pretty standard stuff really, except I was outed by my religious studies teacher who seemed to feel it was her crusade to save me. Fortunately I had a very charismatic History teacher who was a great role, despite being closeted.

Fun fact back in the day I once signed up to Broke Straight Boys using my parents credit card. Something you should NEVER do, just saying.

My favorite model at the moment is Charles Owens. Couple of years ago it was Bobby, Skyler and Ian. Music wise I am pretty open, I like country but I also like songs about hating yourself and feeling upset with the world (punk). I am a big Stargate fan, also love Queer As Folk and 13 Reasons Why. Shelter, Morgan and The Breakfast Club are the films I most relate to.

Look forward to getting to know all of you
:)

although I don't think I look good in pics I added one

Hi Tim,

Welcome to the forum. There is actually an introductory thread that Mark started last July, but you've done a great job of introducing yourself right here. This is Mark's thread.

https://members.brokestraightboys.c...troduce-Yourself&highlight=introduce+yourself

You are correct that it should be "sticky" and near the top and obvious to new members to find. We also used to have two sections to the forum, one regarding porn, and one for non-site related topics, and that made it easier to find threads such as the one above as well as threads on topical matters such as politics, entertainment, sports and the like. I never understood why everything was mixed up as it is today.

But it's great to have you on the forum and please post often and express yourself. As you have noticed, I started a thread called, "Dead Forum", where I see you've commented. Myself and a few others are the longest tenured members of this forum, and the forum is the main reason, I remain a member here, and I love activity and discussion on the forum, whether I agree or disagree with your point of view, I love the discourse. So please Tim, post, post and post.

:welcome: to the forum!!!!!

Hi Tim nice to see a fellow Brit on here. Welcome to the forum, as Mikeyank said please post and help keep the threads alive. There have recently been some very interesting threads and I am sure you will enjoy reading them in due course. If you haven't seen it yet I recommend watching Calhoun and James, both hot guys and in their scene gave a really awesome performance. Look forward to speaking to you on the many subjects that are discussed here.

Welcome to the site Tim, hope you enjoy the vids and chatter !!

Welcome to the forum, Tim. Really nice intro & photo. As the comments above mention, I will look forward to seeing your posts & the fresh subjects you may interject into the forum. :welcome:

Welcome Tim. It is really nice to have you hear. Thanks for introducing your self. Some of us are better at it than others but if you read Mark’s thread that Mikeyank posted a link to you will have the info on several of us who did introduce ourselves. There is also an old thread that I believe is titled 10 random things about yourself. Maybe Mikeyank will post a link to it as well. Keep in mind the end of the thread is the most recent

I think that your pic looks just fine. Welcome to the Forum, Tim!

Great to have you here. You get your own introduction thread but maybe you can copy your introduction to the thread I made sticky as well. I'm not sure why that one was made not sticky but I got some sticky stuff on there for it haha.

I love Queer As Fold too. I've seen the entire season a couple of times haha.

I haven’t been this active on a forum since my spinal op and they work very differently to Facebook xD. Good to know I’ve got some more experienced/knowledgeable members to give me pointers :)
Thanks

If your in the market for shows to watch might I recommend Cucumber. A middle aged man breaks up with his fiancée and decides to start a soft core porn business run from a warehouse much to the surprise of many of his friends. It is incredibly well written and features some great dialogue. I haven’t seen it for streaming anywhere, bought my copy from the iTunes Store (but not sure if it’s available in the US store. You may have to buy the DVD.

Welcome Tim ! I never quite get why myself but I share some weird fondness for Skyler too ! But it's been so long I almost forget why or what about him I like. What do you like about him ? Do you have a favorite scene ? Do you prefer seeing him top or bottom ?

Great choice. Written by the wonderful Russell T Davis. If you want to see a series thatis set in a city other than London (in this case Manchester) its well worth watching.

Hello there Tim! Nice to have you here! I'm Nathan or Nate, but the members here call me Med.
