Well, there are many, many reasons that I have been gone.....But, I just got a new modem hooked up. So far, it is not blinking at me, turning red, shutting off, or any of those other unpleasant things my old one has been doing.
I have missed so much, I don't think I can even try to catch up.

Thanks guys and girls, your welcome backs and well wishes mean a lot. They say when it rains it pours.......It has been pouring for me a lot this summer, even if there has been no rain.
Work has been crazy (staff, facility, and budget), my car has been too good to me for as long as it could, I adopted someone into my heart that didn't take very good care of it, the ex's stupidity created chaos that still isn't resolved, my modem planned its own illness and funeral, and the Broke Straight Boys that I loved, loved, loved, turned into College Dudes......It was just too much for this one little lady to handle.

My intuition told me you had several things going on in your life simultaneously. I'm so sorry these last few months have been such a trial for you. That is a whole lot to handle at one time. Regardless though, your friends are still here and waiting to be here for you with open arms. Welcome back!

Life sometimes deals a bad hand, but when you are kept being dealt bad hand after bad you feel as if you cannot get out of it. Hopefully a small thing like your modem fixed is a start of the road to recovery. BTW, like the bit about Broke Straight Boys turning into College Dudes.
