I've noticed that Broke Straight Boys interviewers almost always forget to ask the models a basic question - which David always used to do, and that is their sexuality. Nowadays you have to listen carefully for small clues in case they slip up. I've just watched the 2 x Ricky Evans interviews and there was no indication of his sexuality until the very end of the BTS when he said, as all the other's do - I'm Ricky Evans and I'm a Broke Straight Boys. Does that statement mean that if we find out that he or any other model is anything other than straight then we use that statement to call them out ?

In the past, when models have been found out to tell white lies, the forum has erupted with those for and against it. So why don't Broke Straight Boys just ask the question in the interview ?

I agree. the two most important questions for me in the interviews are what is the model's sexuality and has he had any past experience or even being hit on by a gay guy, and the other is how did he find himself on Broke Straight Boys? The answers may not be truthful, but it gives my mind something to work with as I process who this new kid is.

not wanting to bring color into the issue, but a white lie might be to say you are straight, a darker lie would be to say you never worked in the business. believably straight is enough. past experience caught on tape warrants the truth.
I might differ on how we reach the same conclusion that the questions are worth asking, I agree with jon and mike.

I agree with you and Jon. David almost always asked do you considered yourself straight, gay or bi. We would get an answer and only time would tell how accurate it is. While the site is called Broke Straight Boys, depending on your defination of STRAIGHT, if you foolled around once or twice (or more) as a youth, would that automaticlly mean your not straight? WE all know that not every model filmed is Straight. Unless they all get a polygraph test, we don't know for sure. But as you have stated before Mike, as long as they seem/act straight that gives us the reality.

Recording the short interviews before filming, would it help Mark, Sha and company if we all suggested what questions we would like to see asked? Examples could include questions like: (Note some of these are already being used).

1. How did you find out about this site?
2. Why did you chose to come here?
3. Who knows you are doing this (girlfriend, family, etc.)
4. What is your sexual preference? Or do you consider yourself straight, gay, or bi?
5. Have you ever had any sexual interaction with another guy at any age? How/Why?
6. What are planninng to do with the money you earn here?
7. Do you have any long range life goals?

These could be some of the basic questions to ask for the first time before the camera. What other first time questions do you think should be added to this list? Add it on and then share with the rest of us.

As for follow-up question after the first time, perhap they could include:

1. How did you feel after your first time (jacking off, sucking, or?).
2. What was it like sucking/fucking another guy?
3. Was any part of it pleasurable? If so what?
4. What did you enjoy about doing the scene(s)?
5. If they express they did not enjoy it, why are you still coming back?

What question can be added to this second group?

If we all contribute to this, I am sure it will help the producer/director going forward.

You're 100 percent right. I was waiting for a question too that would indicate Ricky's sexuality, but never got one. Especially this guy's....

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like we're all on the same wavelength - for a change lol. I like Vicekids list of questions too

And my 2 cents is I agree with all of you.....I think the thing I personally miss the most of BSB1 is how David talked to the models before they got down to Business and how he seemed to coerce them in to going farther then they intended....

Loving the follow up question let encourage prompts so that the answer isn't always "I do it for the fans" "Its all about the money"

For a relative newbie here Rafe, you seem to "get it" about the magic of David, as he masterfully wove his web. I don't know how real any of it really was, but I could easily believe that it was all real, and a lot of his scenes got me worked "up" as current scenes never do.

although I agree that I enjoyed the question being asked, wasn't it obvious in the majority of the latest models

That's the whole point of the thread Spartans. What may be obvious to some is not to others and there has been a lot of heated debate in the past when people have surmised the sexuality of a model. Also one recent model said in his interview that he had not done gay porn before but then he was found out that he had - that blew the forum up too and now the model has not reappeared here again.

So yes, we do need this questions out in the open on the interviews..

:offtopic::offtopic::offtopic:I am feeling like Another1 here. Who is a great keeper of the records. Had some extra time on my hands.
And noticed. Out of the last 40 newbies there are 6 working (sometimes). And I guess the new guy Ricky meaning he has a scene coming up with Cage Kafig.
I wonder why? Is it low pay? Bad reviews? Did they not want to come back?
Did they hate the set? lol...Got off work early. Guess I should have gone to the gym. But this Forum just draws me in.
Anyone else ever wonder about this? Anyone have a answer? Curious ....
Sorry ..I guess I should have started a new thread? Near 2 and a half years and I'm still learning...

Johnny, In my humble opinion, threads wander and meander and I think it's cool when the topic of the thread has nothing to do with the current discussion. And I also have wondered about the "one and done's" and why they only do a solo or only a solo and one scene like Abram, in his ultra hot shower scene with Tyler.

One of my most memorable scenes was Mike & Lucas, as reluctant Mike walked out in the middle of the scene because he could not suck dick on camera. He just walked off. And we saw a similar scenario on Broke Straight Boys-TV, which may or may not have been real. But from watching Mike in his BTS and this scene, Mike was the real deal. He's not really good looking either, but that's not the point. He is an example of a boy who chickened out, when the going got tough and real!

johnny, I am taking this way off topic. Is it low pay? Bad reviews? Did they not want to come back? YES!
the pay scale is not as high as it once was. free porn has driven the value of subscription porn downward. the cost of goods and services go up or remain the same, cost of labor is the only open area. with pay being model specific, some are paid more than others. it must get interesting learning how much less one model is getting than another model or learning a model is getting less than he should or thought he would. so pay must pay role.
bad reviews written in the form of curses. a model who would return to being kicked and spit on, probably should be on a site that is set up for that sort of thing. few young men can handle bad press.
some don't return because in this youtube, smartphone, facebook world not only will someone recognize you, they will post your picture to their facebook page. a friend of a friend will email the picture to someone in your family.
that's how it looks way out in left field. no really that's how it looks from up in the nose bleed seats.

So what questions should they ask lol

Giving how much we've learned about the models who have appeared on this site as either their first scene or among their first scenes in this type of modeling, I would be curious to know, "What are their long term goals"? Do any of them wish to become among the top models in the industry? Are they in it for the long haul?

:par50: Vicekid has the right idea with the questions; you want open-ended (oh please, there's a pun "in" there somewhere)questions to in order to see there response rather than just yes/no statements. I would like to see some of these questions asked during a scene. It would have been really hot for Vadim Black to ask Antonio, while he was fucking him, "you ever have a girl rim/finger you?" Nothing like a dick in your ass to get the truth out!

It has to be a scary proposition getting into porn. I can see where many guys might be tempted by the money, do a scene, realize some of the longer term implications, and then think better of it.

True Tampa, and I would find it fascinating to be able to find out why so many never came back. However based on statements made by Mark recently, the amount of money paid today may not make it as tempting as it was in days of yore.
