Coxy, I understand that you are not a fan of Mike R, while JW is a big fan, like I am. There are many different types of models featured on Broke Straight Boys, and some will turn you on, while other's do not.

There is no right or wrong. It is all our personal tastes and opinions here. It is fine and okay to like or dislike anyone on the site, while respecting someone else's opinion as well.

we all got to know him personally, he was on the forum for a while. a lot of us know how much of a great guy he is. and he wasnt always rated a 3. and yes i am a loner, but i also have this little thing called "respect for human beings" mike r put himself out there for us. he thought he was doing what was entertaining to us. yes its okay to have a different opinion about the models, however its not okay to be an ass about your different opinion

hes tried, i dont listen. but my perspective is that there are opinions, and then there is being an ass. you my friend, are being an ass. saying you hope you never see someone again is not the same as saying you didnt like his performance

This thread is really sad and pathetic. I just read the latest Ashton thread, and at least two people said that they hoped we did not see Ashton again on the futon. Guess what? No one attacked them for it. They actually went on to say much worse and still, no one attacked them.

Just like with every other model on Broke Straight Boys, people are entitled not to like MikeR. I know he posted here, and still e-mails with some of you, but he is still a model on Broke Straight Boys, that people are allowed not to like.

JW you are MikeR's "Slimmie." Slimmie would love Tyler, no matter what he did, it is unconditional. You are the same with with MikeR. That is cool, but you would be so much more respected for that unconditional love, if you defended him without personally attacking others. After all, just as it is your right to love MikeR, it is everyone else's right not to.

I actually did not even watch this scene. Sean is not attractive to me. I knew that with MikeR in it, there would be no guards let down, no accidental feelings or passion, so I was not interested. The exact reasons, that made me not watch this scene, are the reasons that Mikeyank will watch this scene. And that is perfectly alright.

If we all liked the same thing...............this whole site would be nothing but JIMMIE SLATER scenes!

see miss k, i would have said something no matter what model it is, i simply havent read that thread. but naturally anything with Mikes name in it, i read. and to be honest, i understand people have different opinions, but when people start saying shit like coxy, it gets to the point where they are critiquing the model as a person and not on their porn career. all the reasons you listed are perfect good reasons as to why you didnt watch the scene, and it was said tastefully without attacking the persons intelligence, demeanor or looks in a rude way. you are a smart girl, i know you have to see a difference between what you said and what coxy said

It's a tribute to Mike's OTT personality that he's accumulated both "incondicionales" and "detractores" among the members. There are lots of generally appreciated, somewhat more anodyne models who've come before David's lens who haven't provoked such strong emotions as MikeR has in either direction. He was bigger than life, full of joy and full of foibles, and willing to share both. He was one of my very favorite BSBs, partly because of how real he allowed himself to be for us.

I hope that in light of the recent news about Mike R, that you can understand Jw's upset and perhaps set aside your differences to recognize the loss, too early in life, of a site favorite. He will be missed by many, he had so many wonderful qualities on screen. It's so very sad that he has died and he will grace the futon no more. Whether you were a lover or a hater, death is tragic, and his death is shocking and heartbreaking.
