Michelle Bachmann is the gift that keeps on giving. She's always good for a laugh, yet at the same time she scares me. What's scarier is that she actually doing well in Iowa, and there are people who actually support her. She's on her 2nd term which means people voted for her for two terms. Scarier? She's running for president. What has this country come to?

Dear Balboa,

Thank you for being so politically responsible by sharing this clip. When I say she scares the pants right off me, I don't want there to be any misunderstanding. Any hypocrite scares the pants off me, so she just joined their ranks.

According to the CNN commentator for the Iowa Straw pole, no president has ever won there. I hope this trend continues.

I would like to nominate her to her local school's PTO but, from a 180 degree perspective, she is a great example of exactly why so many men were afraid to extend the right to vote to women a century ago. I have to ask if I am being too judgmental? What a disgrace to a lot of highly competent women nationwide!

I loved the clip and her inability to fess up and agree with the video footage of her earlier comments. Does she not have any "spine-bone" now that she is officially among the GOP Presidential candidates. Or is she practicing getting ready to occupy the Oval Office.

Tell me when she gets to the "bondage" parts.:blushing:

Sincerely turned off,

Stimpy

Anyone to the extremes scares me. She has the nerve to think she represents American people and what they think. The only ppl she represents are those afraid of change. America is moving in a direction, as far as we are concerned, in total acceptance of ALL people being equal, and that scares some, because for so long they have been told by religious leaders that being gay is wrong. To quote them, "It's against nature". Well science has prove it is found in ALL forms of nature eg: in the animal kingdom and humans too. It is not a choice, but genetics, and they can't accept it. Off my soap box now....

Why are "women" suddenly being associated with and represented by these mouthy Tea Party members.................when "women" actually make up the majority of the Democratic Party?:confused1:

I believe the big arguments against women voting, holding office, and serving in the military, was that women would let emotion dictate their decisions instead of their brain/logic. And just like every other "which is better" argument, you need both, or nothing works right.

forget about the 3 gay people who would vote for her. wonder who would vote Republican these days? I. Really surprised there isn't a gay candidate. There are Black, Women and now there should be gay candidates.

Dear Ms. Kianna,

Of course I believe in women's rights in all things and would never want it anyother way. I guess I am simply stating that I truly find Michele Bachmann and her submissiveness to her husband and her inability to extend minimal Christian kindness and acceptance of others as Christ commanded his followers to exhibit as being TOTALLY CONTEMPTABLE AND BEYOND MERE HYPOCRISY ON HER OWN PART. Maybe Newsweek's cover photo was more revealing of the real MB behind the facade than she wants others to see.

She has the loudest mouth and worst hearing at the moment and just like the proverbial "squeaky wheel" she gets the most "grease". But of course, Thank God she is in a minority for now and barely won the "Straw Poll" in Iowa with a margin of 1%. As for this "which is better" scenario you suggested, Michele should serve as a basis for other women with a kinder and more accepting nature to be the complete opposite of what this "presidential hopeful" aspires to be. She hasn't the depth required for this level of leadership, but, of course, neither did GW and look at what a "mess" he created for the country following "God's will and direct inspiration he was privy to". So much for false prophets!

We need someone with a surgeon's skill to go to the "Whitehouse" with an outstanding grasp of economics. Furthermore, we need the Republicans, who have held up President's Obama's nominees to key Economic policy making positions, to be allowed to obtain approval for his nominees by Congress so that our country has a wealth of experts on hand guiding us through these treaturous economic times. Republicans certainly objected to nominees being held up by the opposition during GW's reign.

I may have come across in my earlier post as a "male-chauvinist pig" as defined in the 1960's but, this label is misapplied in my case. Sorry if my original statement gave you pause, but my statement on women's voting rights applied specifically to Michele Bachmann! It was never intended to be a blanket statement applying to all women.

Sincerely,

Stimpy

If I had the opportunity I would pee on Michelle Bachmann's face. She's a slag and a cunt.

There I said it.

Dear MissDeidra and navelluver,

I must admit I can't stand her and she really pisses me off too! If she is what Christianity is supposed to look like, then the prospects of going to hell cannot be so bad afterall!:b_evil: Of course, she could wind up there too and then it really would be HELL TO PAY!

Sincerely,

Stimpy

Your comment reminds me of a quote from James Carville (Democratic political consultant) several years ago when he appeared on Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect." Speaking of Jerry Falwell, he said "I wouldn't piss down his throat if his heart was on fire." It was a stroke of genius--so wrong on so many levels, yet so right.
