Message from The Vadim Black

Vadim Black - you have been a favorite of mine since I arrived on this site in July. I watched your body of work and never sensed an apparent aversion of thread comments from you. Now your Twitter page leaves me a bit skeptical of your "maturity" in doing gay-for-pay when it is so troublesome for you. I will restate or attempt to reiterate that you are a believable performer, Here and on Men - which I find rather exciting that you have come into such demand. You and Johnny R have such an admiration for one another (that's how I see it.)

Vadim Black - keep doing what you are doing except for the threatening tweets. They will get you "watched" by some folks you don't want to know you exist! Be honest with yourself. The power and pleasure of male-on-male sex is incredible. You ssem to know and have "mastered" that reality. But, please, back off on the screaming about gay-4-pay - it does not sell well. Take the comments (including this if need be) with a grain of salt. No one on these threads is in charge of your life or well-being. Your ratings - YES! But that is it. You have completed schooling, no? Perhaps now is the time to bow out of the business. However, you many, many fans all over the world will hope you will continue to be a performer. Oh, what the hell do I know. Just want you to know and believe there are many more like me who accept you and admire your body of work (and, for me, your absolutely incredible body of which I am so totally envious but also enamored!)

Ignore what you view as negative. No matter what you do in life henceforth there will always be critiques. Harden your skin my dear Vadim Black and ignore the posts you find negative. Not one of us could pull off what you do for stubscribers' pleasure. Thanks, and hang in there!!

.. anyways if you guys think that I'm being fake in anyway go head hit me with the hate comments also I'm willing to step down , and walk away from this so please let me know what you all feel.
I was quite surprised to read your latest comments Vadim Black, particularly the last few words which I quoted above. From watching your appearance on the MTV reality show, you impressed me with your professionalism, being flown around the country to work for top studios and seemingly understanding what a wonderful opportunity you have been given early in your adult life to earn assumedly a healthy salary, more than most young men your age with or without a college education, and I thought you appreciated the opportunity that your good looks and good fortune have given you.

I see that you are now ranked number one on the Broke Straight Boys model page with a 4.67 out of 5, which is concrete proof of your popularity among all models who have ever performed here, and yet you are so concerned by some negative criticism by a handful of members, that you are calling those of us who criticized your performance in your latest scene, "haters" and you have threatened to "step down and walk away", due to some negative comments.

You are in show business where everything you do will be evaluated and criticized and some will love it and some not so. The scene is question is currently rated 4.47. If you want to remain in "show business", which is what being a porn star is, I would suggest you show more restraint in your comments and not call your critics "haters", and enjoy the adulation and praise from the majority of your fans, and either take the criticism as constructive, or just silently ignore it and laugh on your way to the bank. You are not helping your career with comments like those that you made.

Vadim Black - you have a strong fan base and the fact is that your MTV moment shows just how much you have done to earn that. I cannot speak for all your fans but I know that the vast majority of your fans here at Broke Straight Boys view you as more than just a pretty face. They care for you and want only the best for you in your future. I know that I do.

I agree with Juanjo, Vadim Black! You are loved here by many fans. You model rating speaks clearly to that fact. Please don't let a few critiques get you angry. You will never please all of the people all of the time. So please take heart in the fact that you're pleasing a LOT of people most of the time.

I'm looking forward to your latest scene. I haven't watched it yet only because I've been so busy with Christmas parties and social events this weekend. I'm sure I'll find many things to enjoy in your scene. I love the look of your new haircut!

Peace and Love to you Vadim Black! :001_wub:

Hey Guys , how is everyone been? HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!! I would like to hit on a couple key comments I have seen. First of all I'd just like to let everyone know that I am doing great , life is treating me well. I'm sure by now many of you know that my MTV show is coming out tonight , I hope you all enjoy it , Big thank You To Mark and Ty for setting that up for me. I saw that a lot of you have been wondering if I mentioned Broke Straight Boys on there , of course I did! But the way they edit everything there is no telling what they will put in and out of the show. Also a lot of you i have noticed are concerned about me and where I stand with Broke Straight Boys All I can say is that yes I have moved on to shooting with Men.com but I made it clear to Mark and SHA that no matter what I will always stick with Broke Straight Boys and shoot with them. You guys gave me a loving place here at Broke Straight Boys and I will make sure that I will always continue to make hot vidios for all of you until it's time to be done. So please idk what what you hear or what people say I'm sticking around for when ever they call me out. Hope you all are looking to that Christmas scene with Devon and I. For now you guys can follow me on my official twitter where I am very active if you have any further questions , comments or concerns.
@vadimblack___ love you guys that's it for now :)

-Vadim Black

your so sweet Vadim Black!!!! it was great talking to you the other day hope to see ya soon buddy!

Vadim Black, I read your ranting post last night and decided to get some sleep before answering.

As I told you in another thread, I am one of your biggest fans and I only came back to Broke Straight Boys just to follow you. If you look at the rating of this last scene (4.42), I would have to say that I do not stand alone. You apparently have a HUGE fan base here, and that would equate to a whole lot of love and a lot of money in your pocket. As Mikeyank has already stated, you are currently ranked #1 out of all the models who Broke Straight Boys has ever shot. You didn't get there by members "hating" you. There are no "haters" here and you should erase that word from your vocabulary when addressing members.

Constructive criticism is not a bad thing. The smart models will use it to grow (yes, you are still growing) and make even better scenes...or...you could just ignore the criticism and bask in the glory of another successfully rated scene. You also have to remember that you are working for more than one site. What works on the other site, may not work here. You must be able to adapt your performances for each site.

Most people here love and admire you and appreciate your work here. Your threat of leaving Broke Straight Boys again is certainly unfounded and very disappointing to your fans. Think before you leap, my friend. You've been given a lot of good advice here, take it or not.

Sincerely a fan,

Robb

I think maybe it is time for the members to just stop critiquing our models and scenes.Since they now can read our post and post back.
It has taken the fun out of it. We can no longer say what we feel and be honest about it. We may hurt
someones feeling. Be called haters. And have models say maybe they will leave. I would hate to cause a model leaving because they can't take a negative review.
That ( too me ) is the worst thing. The models now being able complain about reviews.
I guess that is why they call it Broke Straight Boys. Rather than Men. Or maybe just give every one and every scene a 5. If you like it or not.
Hate seeing a model being a cry baby over one bad review. Hate me if you want. That is just what I feel.

Vadim Black I myself have enjoyed your scenes here and on Men.com. The thing is people are going to criticize that is just nature, you are not the first or the last. The forum members are just a small percentage there are plenty of scenes the forum hates, but have high ratings. I for one love the passion you bring to scenes. I also understand that some get off on talking when having sex, especially straight guys it confirms if they are doing good or not. Most members seem to forget this or have never done dirty talk. Keep up the good work and take the criticism with a grain of salt. Broke Straight Boys has lot models due to the forum criticism, but like my grandfather says never let a person chase you from what you worked hard for.

Vadim Black, if you are reading all of our responses, I can tell you with certainty that Robb is being 100% truthful in telling you how much he loves you and you are in fact the reason he re-joined Broke Straight Boys, because of you! I highly suggest you read his words and others carefully as your fans are offering advice for your own benefit.

Taking the advice of a forum member I am backing off this thread and making no further comments concerning this young man.

I just saw the tweets and pictures. And found them down right scary.Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
More negative than anything posted on here. Remember we Faggots are paying you salary Vadim Black.

every public performer wants to be loved by everyone. politicians and actors. everyone wants their works to be recognized and praised. the sycophant stays because of need.
in the real world, the closer you get to perfection, the closer people will look at you. no one pays attention to the zit on an ugly man's nose. ah, but on a beautiful model?
at the top of the performer's list and in the top episodes, what more could a model ask for!?

I watched the MTV show just before it disappeared from Comcast's On Demand. I found Ben's (Sean on Sean Cody) story to be uplifting as he was really grateful for his new opportunities and optimistic about the future. Granted, he was new to the business but had a positive attitude. I'd like to see how he feels in a year.

Vadim Black's story centered mostly around whining about the difficulties of the job. His description of the drugs he had to use and their side-effects was somewhat disturbing. If he is around some gay performers (which he certainly is) some of them should have told him that one of the down-sides of using poppers is that they can leave you with a pounding headache. With some guys, they also interfere with getting and especially keeping an erection. As to the dick pills, he should be able to find a doctor who could prescribe one of the 3 pill types used for erectile dysfunction. They have to be more safe than whatever he's taking that isn't available in the States.

I know he's still very young and young ego's are prone to being easily bruised. As many have stated above, he just has to move past that and learn to deal with it. I don't know what he's been saying on Twitter (as my friend says, Twitter it for twits), but it sounds as if it's really negative.

I hope he moves past the whining and petulance. He's a decent performer and a truly beautiful guy. He chose to use that beauty to do porn. He could have tried modeling (he's too short for runway work but perfect for print because he photographs so well), but his early decision's brought him to porn and it cost him a lot. He was rejected by family and friends. He chose to lie to his girlfriend. The porn lifestyle hasn't been a joy ride for him. It seems that at this point he really needs to seriously consider his exit plan. Do porn for another 6 months or a year and then have something lined-up to move on to. I think he would be happier and his self-esteem would get a real boost. Staying in a job where he's naked all the time seems to really make him morose. He needs to find one where he wears clothes (even just gym clothes) and leave porn behind. Yeah, the money's good. But if it makes him feel like shit most of the time, less money and greater happiness about his life is worth the cut in salary.

I honestly have enjoyed his scenes. I hope he finds his way. Do porn and accept the costs, or get out and start a new life.

More people weighing in on Vadim Black and the other "straight" models. The people have some views that I agree with, and others, I don't...life. But if you are wanting a laugh, go to 4:15...too funny, and so true.:bump:

Thanks, Beth, for this vid. Pretty much the sentiment of many who commented here.

Oh, and regarding the 4:15 laugh:

Too bad he didn't say, "See, I'm the butt of that joke!" - Just an extra tic of humor... lol

After reading your guys comments about everything it's really unfortunate how judgemental a lot of you are. A lot of people have assumed a lot of the MTV but sadly most of your comments are not true. As for my scene that just got released.. First off all idk what you guys even expect of Broke Straight Boys ANY more in term of scene performance. It started out as straight guys having sex, that was the fantasy. That wasn't enough for you guys because it was too painful for models and u guys couldn't watch that. Well let me tell you all something that's a straight guy for you sorry we don't take a dick all the time ....Ok so then we talk and try to figure out how we can give you a better show. I opened up my mind and actually tried to enjoy sex with a guy. After a while that happens. So now in all my scenes I actually try to enjoy it and make it as real as possible , yet that somehow is fake to u all... I presume everything u all have sex there is no sound and u and ur partner don't say a word u guys just fuck and not make sound.. ?? It's ok I try to give you guys real sex. And so does every model , I'm not speaking on just my behalf I'm speaking for majority of the models on here.. it just seems like you guys don't even care about the sex anymore you guys just get on here to critique every little thing like it's a reality TV show. I have tested this theory out but switching up different performance styles and it proved to be true. And I understand that a lot of you will be mad I get it. That's why I'm posting this because I can take the heat. Also u guys need to know how the models feel. So if you guys feel that the sex is somehow fake , and that I'm just randomly making noise , then idk what sex is to you. But I'm actually tryingrid to enjoy it. And I guess u guys don't even think about the fact that that turned my partner on as I talk before every scene with my partner to ask what he likes so we can have a hot scene. That's what he liked and wanted me to do so he could be turned on the whole time.. anyways if you guys think that I'm being fake in anyway go head hit me with the hate comments also I'm willing to step down , and walk away from this so please let me know what you all feel.

Vadim Black,

I have been an fan and an admirer of you from your first video with Paul. I have watched you grow and develop, seen you leave us (Broke Straight Boys) and then come back home. I am sure life for you throughout this time was not an easy walk in the park on a sunny afternoon. What I've seen is a model who generally cares not only about his performance but that of his partner. This says a lot about your character. You have requested feedback from us, which is great, but it is a double edge Dildo ( I mean sword). It opens the flood gates to all types of responses. And that my friend can become the issue we face here.

I have written here on more than one occasion that WE formunites need to be careful in how WE communicate to models (not to mention to each other). I despise the word criticize, it's too damn harsh. I also don't like critique, it makes us seem like professional film critics, which we are not. I wish that we could use the term suggestion. Lets suggest what we would like to say. For example, Vadium I would like to see you take cumshots orally. Then you can decide Yes or No to include that in your performance. It is neither a critique or criticism, but something someone has given to be helpful. Lets say a lot of us give you that same suggestion, then it means more and may (or may not) make you decide to add that in, where it is appropriate. If I was the only one to request it, then it may not be important to the rest of the membership and you move on. We (forumites) should Not dissect each phase of a performance. If we can stay with "suggestions" you and other models could more easily digest this information and perhaps this could eliminate all the BS that happens when some of us mean well, but it comes out bad.

However, not all of my forumites will agree with this. Some feel that since we pay XXX$ they have power to expect changes. That is where management stands behind their models to let them know not to take every word written here as personal. I would expect you and other models to try and understand that in this industry there will always be critics who present what can be interpreted as harmful remarks. You need to hold back on those comments. A phrase I've used here more than once is you read something you don't like, disagree with or is harmful your best approach is to simply IGNORE IT PERIOD! If you respond in any way, it only feeds the flames of fire. Vadim Black, your bigger and better than that. You did not become #1 due to shear luck. YOU did it by doing what YOU felt WE would like to see. You did it for us and for that I can say simply: THANK YOU!

To my fellow formites, lets take to heart that we are dealing with human beings who have feelings. Lets be open and honest, but do so with dignity and respect. You get more from Honey that you do with spice.

Vadium, I also have a better understanding of what you as a model go through. Before Mark relocated to Florida, I had a very nice visit with him in Denver. Also had the chance to meet with Damian C., Ty and Ian. I consider Mark a dear friend. We talked about certain aspects of what goes on behind the scenes. So, to a small extend I know a little more about what you go through to go before the camera. I believe in Mark and how he treats/takes care of his employees (aka models). I hope you count your blessings for working with Mark and company. Feel free next time you see Mark to verify what I said.

My only real advice to you, is what some others have said: Be yourself, do what "feels" natural or right. Plus keep a positive attitude. Thanks for the journey, can't wait to see how you and your best friend made out. Hope the friendship is as strong as ever.

Wishing you a Wonderful Holiday Season and a Truly Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

Live Long and Prosper,

Vicekid

P.S. FYI - My grandparents came from Russia.

Thanks Beth.. That was fun. Not Vadims best choice to do. He will survive. He is pretty. For now.
