Neil Sedaka’s prime years as a performer were before I came of age. He was a fellow Brooklynite and I certainly enjoyed his music. I remember the big hit song he wrote for The Captain & Tennille which was a huge hit in 1975.
Chac posted Neil singing this song himself, but as was pointed out by the disc jockeys at the time, in the closing notes of the song, you can hear Toni Tennille sing, “Sedaka's back!”
